David Moyes has insisted that injury concerns will not force him into the transfer market this month and he expects most of Manchester United's business to be done in the summer.

He's got to go for someone. Midfielder, Winger, Defender, Full Back - something. All these areas can be massively improved.

With the quality in our squad, when Rooney and RvP come back and with Vidic playing regularly, I still think we'll get top 4 with ease. The cup is just a distraction out of the way.

Our strongest 11 is good enough to come 4th for sure, but it's getting everyone fit so that's possible. Doesn't look great at the moment.

Be the lion.

LoL :D

That has been the big factor for me, he's been without the spine of the team for pretty much every game Vidic/Carrick/Rooney/RvP any team would struggle.

Warnock is a ****ing plank, just replaying the goals and he said "I don't even know why Fletcher is trying to stop the cross, he shouldn't be there"

Hargreaves then pointed out he was playing RB because Fabio was sent off.

Such a knob.

With ease, gentlemen, with ease...

Vidic hasn't played regularly for ages and hasn't been anywhere near his best for the past 2 years at least anyway. Rooney has only not been a part of 3 league games so far, RVP I think 9 games. You've been losing games and playing this much worse football with both of those playing.

With both fit Utd were struggling, with neither fit they are merely struggling even more. Having both back, considering how Utd were doing with both fit, in no way would suggest they were on course for an easy top 4. They have gotten worse over time, not better, and that is the entire team. As they get worse, more teams are getting at them, particularly at home, making it even worse. RVP and Rooney will come back but they'll be back in a team that is worse than when they got injured, and back then, they weren't good enough.

Considering the teams below, Newcastle started the season very poorly and have improved, are in much better form than utd, and Southampton have dropped off, but after the hardest run probably any team has had in the league in the past decade. 7 of the top 8 in 9 games is insane. But also leaves them with a much easier run of games. utd for me are at much more risk to dropping places to Newcastle and Southampton than gaining on 4th.

I don't think Moyes is entirely to blame, the players have a lot to answer for, there's no fight in them at all.

It is up to the manager to instil that fight in them and get them motivated. Something that Sir Alex was clearly incredible at. Moyes just simply can't do it by the looks of things.

First thing Moyes said:

"A bit unlucky to lose..."

Really? Really? Really?!!

"For long periods we had good control of the game."

Ok.

Gary Lineker ‏@GaryLineker 51m

Kagawa is having, what they call in Japan, a Rionel...

Bit of casual racism there Gary!

David Ginola is hilarious.

He's great, I agree with what he was saying too. Moyes just keeps repeating the same rubbish after each dreary game - be nice to hear something a bit different, even though he's no doubt saying different things to the players.
