me ? i'm not a bike rider but i can appreciate the quality of the ducati and the talent of the rider to say it doesn't surprise me the bike won.

I'm not so sure on the end summary. Stick me behind the wheel of the 458 and I'd probably spin off or stack it into a wall...

So not convinced if it would make me feel like a superstar probably more like a chump!

Excellent, thanks for posting the vid m8.

Rider talent and skill made all the difference there although it would have been even more interesting to compare the car and bike "like for like" in spec and performance. A Ducati 1198R makes slightly more power at 186bhp compared to the 1198S at 170bhp plus its a kilo lighter.

That said, I would suggest such a magnificent car like the 458 deserves to be put up against something slightly more exotic. Desmosedici RR perhaps? :cool:

Shame we don't get to see the layout of the track more, if it is as twisty as they suggest then it would have been interesting to see a race spec' supermoto up against the two.
