They do normally mate. Will say tessellation has been modified as one of the reasons for lack of validation.

I think that is only if it is submitted to be validated, I could be wrong on this though as I have never tried it.

Will see what my sample does over the weekend when increasing the memory frequency. It's supposedly locked down according to Robert Hallock, and GPU-Z is in fact misreporting...lol

I have seen a number of scores where the memory has been overclocked but it has not made a big difference.

Have you got any idea what software people are using to overclock the memory.

All I get with an old copy of MSI afterburner is the option to o/c the core.

Bloody ferry strike, looks like i'll have both cards on wednesday, one has been doing circles for the last week.

When you do get the cards installed the first thing you will think when you turn your PC on is, "is it broken" as you won't hear anything.

+50 mem got me an extra 280 points on the GFX score.

AB is what I use to OC the mem.

Which version of AB, the latest one ?

At my age I don't do high pitched sounds.

I've tried bud, makes no difference to my score something is defo wrong somewhere, losing anywhere from 300-600 points.

Can you turn off your other PCI-E slots ?

What monitor are you using? Is it one of those Gsync ones? If so...there's your issue right there.

Should not make any difference.

Without an NVidia card attached it is just another monitor.

For use @2160p with ultra settings 4 Titan Xs are the fastest and it is not even close.

Not with those settings lol.

With 4 cards you only use max settings or you risk a very big CPU bottleneck.

4 up the TXs will win against 4gb and 6gb cards @2160p more often than not because the other cards run out of VRAM.

With a 5960x at stock that is only 3.3GHz with anything more than 2 cores loaded according to Intel themselves. I can only assume it doesn't limit the furyX's as much, hence the result as they are shown.

Using max settings on 4 cards means that for most modern games 4.0ghz to 4.5ghz is enough for 2160p.

Using the settings in the graphs seen earlier 8.0ghz on the CPU would not be enough lol.

If you use 4 cards, use the highest settings you can or there is no point in having that many GPUs.

Problem with review sites is on the very rare occasion they test 4 GPUs they still use the same settings they would for a single card lol.

What settings do you use for aa? At 2160p 2x is probably as much as you need, sticking it up to 4x or 8x just dedicates a lot of gpu grunt and vram to something thats pretty pointless at that res.

Max AA and it is very visible on a 32" 2160p screen.

Then you're just dedicating a load of vram and performance to aa which is pointless. I have a 32" 4k panel 2-4x is noticeable, anything after that you'd need a magnifying glass to see any difference.

It's my VRAM and I will use it however I want.

I am 56 years old and have no problem seeing the difference so I think people who are half my age will see it even better.

Or you could go to 4xaa on 4 cards and get better performance, or would that basically relegate 4 cards to being pointless as their grunt wouldn't be used effectively?

4 card with max settings is fast enough for the latest games and minimums are very good too.

Using max settings compresses the min and max around the average which works well @2160p.

Got three Plexi nickel blocks coming in the next couple of days.

Not much point running single slot in a full ATX case with MGPU though, not like you can fit them that way lol.

I got an email today saying mine (Acetal+Nickel) are on the way too.

PCper 2 and 3way Scaling Fury X vs 980Ti I'm rather impressed by the Xfire scaling. Better frame times as well.

Totally clueless this guy is.

He would not recognise a CPU bottleneck if it hit him over the head.
