I just noticed on their article page it looks like they're running a stock 3960X. No mention of an OC on it. :/

I have to say, I'm still impressed by AMD's improved Frame time variance and scaling. My last foray into it was horrible.

Also the Power consumption on 3 cards in both camps looks lower than I expected. I might not have to get a anew PSU to get my 3rd GPU.

Just to show scaling past 2 cards does work I just did this. Check the FPS in top left corner.

And I am still CPU bottlenecked and limited by the fps cap in the game lol.

Kaap, you can remove the 200 fps limit in bf4 with a command line in a user.cfg file. Would be interesting to see what your max is.

Not much more than 200, it was just nudging 200 stood still.

If I removed the cap and overclocked the GPUs I think I could hit 220 to 230 fps on the training ground. Having said that in the actual game fps are a little lower.

The other problem is the CPU is still bottlenecking the cards.

You may have to give more detail to some people.

Have you got yours fitted and was it quite easy without loads of GDDR5 chips ?

My blocks will arrive sometime next week. I'm still waiting to order two more Furys to fit the other two to lol.

I have got my blocks but I won't be fitting them until I have got a problem with one of my cards sorted.

Should be quite easy though without all the GDDR5 chips.

Well, I caved in and ordered a 40" Philips 4K monitor instead of the 980Ti. This made the most sense to me and I can now test how good the Fury X is against the Titan X at 4K

I can see you being tempted to get another FX and TX for some two way CF and SLI gaming @2160p.

If people don't buy Fiji NOW, they won't get Pascal in 2016. NV will have a total monopoly and just continue farting out 28nm rehashes for a 3% bump just like Intel.

These fanboys are only screwing themselves.

NV will move away from 28nm with or without AMD for profit if no other reason.

It has been professionally installed, seems silent so far ( idle ),
I can hear a tiny noise but it might be coming from the cpu VRMs, hard to tell

Maybe Humbug was correct and they are supplying the Asian market and ignoring the rest of the world? Stock is a joke here and the US.

Don't think so

Just done a search on the Firestrike website for the number of results and there are 1731 scores. This includes multiple entries by individuals for example quite a few belong to AMDMatt. The figure also included 1, 2, 3, and 4 card entries so again the owners are getting counted more than once.

I picked out Firestrike standard as it is the most popular benchmark.

If we discount the multiple entries and configurations the actual number of owners on there is probably around 300.

i also doubt that any stock ended up in Asia. They will get a higher profit margin in Europe.

When I looked this morning there were over 23k of Titan X results and 40k of GTX 980 Ti results.

could have very easy come from same batch... 500 say GPUs out of say total 2000 GPUs sent to suppliers is still a small batch of damaged goods..
Say ocuk got most there stock from the bad batch.

My numbers no way concrete just giving you an idea.

I got all of mine from OcUK and no whine on any of them.

The ship with all the stock was captured by somali pirates on the nvidia payroll .

I work with a number of Somali's who are well connected and will gladly release the cards for a nice little earner.

Having said that, Yousef would you mind releasing the ship as I am waiting for an RMA.

I'm convinced that the random drops are caused by running more than one GPU, because I used to get that all the damn time on GTAV. They didn't drop to 0, but they did drop by about 15 FPS and even Gsync was having issues with it, so instead of a massive stutter I would get like a slow motion thing going on for a couple of seconds. Very odd !!

Any way, for the ROH here she is, safely nestled in.



I cut my finger doing that so I had to wipe all of the blood off but she's in. Coil whine on my PSU has dropped significantly, but then I expected that

Just installing Wolfy now, will report back. I was getting between 23 and 31 FPS with it before on one Titan Black, so I'm pretty sure I can double that easy and it will actually be playable.

But yeah, god damn this thing is a 4k MONSTER.
