I hope the 3rd parties get to grips with voltage control soon, Would actually like to see "The Overclockers Dream".
Had mine in for a couple of days now. When I first fired it up it had a terrible whine - really high pitch and loud. I was gutted.
I was prepared to send it back but I was curious how it performed so I had a session playing one heavily GPU bound game (Survarium) - 100% load for a couple of hours.
To my surprise by the time I was done the whine was gone. If I take the side panel off and put my ear right up to it I can still hear the whine but it's really a non-issue now. The pump is louder than the corsair H55 on my cpu but still it just sounds like a pump.
I don't know if it's settled down with a run in or if it's just killed off that part of my hearing range, but whatever, I'm happy
Well, fitted mine today (after wrestling with my 900D, that's the last time you get me Corsair! Probably).
While I've not had too much time to really push them, the little bit of playing I have done didn't have any obvious signs of whine (yet).
The cards and fans were actually quieter than I had expected them to be with the Gentle Typhoons on, although they've not really been pushed for any length of time to build up an heat.
I got my Fury X a few weeks back, it had terrible pump whine, so i had to speed up my WC project, ofc the warranty lost but who cares
Few pics and please remove my Giga Ti from theirs honor wall thingy...
And in the loop
Images over 1,280 pixels wide should be placed in spoiler tags as I've done for you.

So in past couple of days was toying around with luxmark 3.1.
And since I had some time, and was brainfarting, I thought hey let's push one of the cards to the limit.
Final GPU clock(through CCC) 1197Mhz with obviously stock volts and +50% power limit (power limit +35% crashed the drivers during one of the runs). End results:couple of best results in luxmark leaderboards, and coming quite close to superclocked 980ti (ran in linux). Though it has been reported, that nvidia's new suggested compiler options and optimisations are causing some artifacting in real world rendering, but they pass the 3 scenes in benchmark, so have no problem with that.
I was experiencing quite a bit of throttling, I am suspecting VRM, since the GPU itself was under 60C all the time. I do remember someone theorize that VRM cooling might not be perfect (bad contact or something). I kinda agree with it, but future will tell how it is. Because clock scaling was not the best. Also, clocking fury x, now is a bit easier, I mean it clocks a bit higher. During 1st weeks of testing I could stably run only 1113Mhz. Now I see myself clocking GPU to 1129-30Mhz range. Not a lot, but still. Maybe it is colder weather, drivers, or something else.
But I guess TLDR, let's get back to usual 10 year old stand up comedy central
Hi guys
I promised i would update when i got my Fury X'es water cooled: http://imgur.com/a/u72ED.
As you can see i like actual loops in my water loop
The noise is now almost none exciting, the cards rarely go over 46 degrees and I’m just very happy.
Why not? These results show us what we see in a lot of games.
With a second card you get a good boost, Adding a 3rd or 4th tends to be a waste of money. There are games that will use the extra grunt but they are few and far between.
This is meant to be about the scaling between 2, 3 and 4 cards.
As for there cpu it doesn't mention speed so presumably they are running it at stock speeds which seems a bit dumb considering it's an open bench and they're using an AIO cooler.
I just registered to get on TROH, heres my picture:

Fixed
Wow, steady on their Kaap! That's almost too epic to handle on a full custom loop....
Well someones bought a Sapphire, so they've made 1 sale today at least.
Thought I would add mine to the ever growing list, this is actually my 2nd Fury X, first one ordered on the 25th June and received early August was a screamer but due to work commitments (14+ hour days) I never got chance to return it for a replacement until this week.
Original card was an XFX, replacement is a Sapphire and so far its great, still a slight noise from the pump but its barely audible with the case panel on, unlike the previous which could be heard in all rooms of my flat.
Wondering if someone with a Fury X and Batman Arkham Knight could do me a maHOOsive favour.
Could you run the games benchmark maxed out minus the Nvidia options at 1440P pretty please and post a screenshot of the results, It would be appreciated
I tried taking a screenshot but everytime I did it exited to the main menu and took a picture of a blank screen
