Why are people reporting Glasgow looks like it's going to be 54% YES 46% NO? I thought Glasgow was going to be a lot later so how can anyone have any idea? Just based on initial sample?

Paddy Power odds are 1/20 for NO. Paddy knows..... :D

Right to free prescriptions? It's not a right, its a cut made somewhere else. And it's a stupid policy anyway, unnecessarily costly. That money could be better spent elsewhere.

1st in clackmannshire 19036 v 16350 88.6% turnout so 8% margin for no campaign, they were expecting this to be one of the stronger yes ones apparently. So hopefully that will follow on. I so hope no wins, last thing we should be doing in this day and age is devolution and independence.

Are we going to get any announcements of results as they come in, or will we get nothing until its all done?

Clackmannanshire is in at 46.2% YES 53.8% NO.

That's a good result.

I agree there shouldn't be free prescriptions, but there should be a cut in single item costs. £7 odd is expensive when most OTC meds are about a fiver at most.

However people forget, you can apply on a means tested basis for free prescrips. and essential (life saving) meds are free. I know this because all my heart tablets are free.

We've already got devolution in Scotland with more powers on the way if it is a yes or no. A no vote brings it's own problems for the rest of the UK.

"Free prescriptions, universities, libraries all open, thing called minor ailments which is free calpol etc from chemist, no bedroom tax, sure start still here.... we get much more than. England!"

My Scottish friend saying how good it is up there ....
