The GeForce GTX 1080 Is The Best Selling High-End Card Ever Released – AIBs Confirm

Shankly, there were more people on the 1080 ROH after 3 weeks than the Fury ROH after a year.

Have you not seen how many 980Ti are for sale or have sold on the Bay recently? What are those people upgrading to?

Fury didn't sell well at all, one of AMD's worst releases in a long time. The only thing worth taking from fury is its nice to see HBM working and what it can do.

People are buying 1080 sure I have no doubt, I just find it very odd that for such a GPU that is selling so well, the owners thread is dead? For such sales you expect more activity in that thread, sure not all buyer post on here, but for the volume sold you expect more than 60 people.

Wow

There must have been so many waiting to jump onto the new node makes you wonder just how many where not maxwell users....I suppose that with 8Gb on board is making peeps throw money at nvidia...

So if peeps where on kelper or lower ect and with very little vram on those most will be seeing this as part of justifying the cost with 8Gb along with the node jump and extra speed...

80% of PC gamers are still on a 960 performing level card or lower!

So the opportunity to get people upgrading is huge and 970 is minimum spec for VR!

Most of our customers are not forum members. :)

Other message boards tell a different tale.

Fingers in ears and hands on eyes when the facts are right in front of him. No point arguing with that mentality.

Not talking about other places or shops. Ocuk sold 100k vs this fourm. The numbers don't add up at all.
This fourm is one of the most popular UK hardware forums, ocuk is one the most popular hardware retailer.

And yet 100k sold vs what is being posted doesn't add up. That list should easy be in the hundreds.
Greg enough of the insults thank you.

And even if that was true, 100k sold yet the owners thread is 60 strong lol
I expect that list to be in the hundreds. :D

Using the unofficial forum roll of honour as the basis of your argument is literally one of the most fallacious things I've ever read on this forum. And that takes some doing.

How's the teamspeak? Haaa here they come running.

My debate on this matter, makes perfect sense. Even if not all them 100k didn't post, that thread should still be a stronger list, end off.

Nothing wrong with them. A week ago only a meagre amount had shipped :p

Please stop :p

Those posts were on the 18th and 19th June - on the 20th June:

Doubtful, we have shipped well over 1000 on 1080 already, we have had a lot of 1080 stocks, but the sales are totally insane on that part, even beyond the sales what 970 was at launch.

Kudos to NVIDIA for launching a product at twice the MSRP and still selling more. :)

Flip Flop for the lols, when the same argument about Fiji owners thread, apparently it was a clear indication they sold hardly any, now it's not indicative in the slightest.:D
