The Godfather Arrested?

The man considered to be the head of the Sicilian Mafia, Bernardo Provenzano, has been arrested after four decades on the run.

Police said Mr Provenzano, deemed the country's most wanted man, was arrested in Sicily.

Seems to be a major coup for Italian police if true.

I love stuff like this and have a few books on organised crime and the Sicilian and Cosa Nostra Mafias.

This is a photofit and actual picture of Provenzano released by the authorities. His disguises are supposedly legendary and he always passes messages by hand or note so not to give himself away.

I didn't know that the town of Corleone had any connection with the Mafia. I knew it was a real town, i just thought it was a random place picked by Mario Puzo tbh.
