Seeing the United squad back in training today made me realise that preseason is sneaking up on us. it's that time where our clubs play meaningless matches for huge money in far-flung countries, we get to hype up those youngsters that we've barely seen and Arsenal get to try and win that tournament they invented. I'm lazy so stick your team's friendlies in a post if you want them in the OP

Given the two lineups, Utd ought to be able to get a result

We should 'win' the first half but can only imagine every sub will be used so second half will be very different. Result isn't really important though. That's why I'd rather we didn't have these big matches preseason, especially first game. Just leads to everyone overreacting on a meaningless result either way. Guarantee Nick is already itching to type that the season is over if we lose.
