The 2nd (happy octacon ) great sandwich debate (inspired by le petit lapain)

whats YOUR favourite sandwich!

Personally mine is a toast, bacon, cheese, lettuce, burger, lettuce cheese , bacon, toast with tomato ketchup and a nice big cup of tea!

and also the debate bit is pretty closed 2 slices of bread cut into halves = 2 sandwiches end of

Actually at the minute my tastes are quite simple, with the current favourite being a Mature Cheese, Smoked ham and Pineapple sarnie.

Possibly on toast and grilled as well.

ooh man that sounds really nice, never thought of putting pineapple in a sandwich, ttiuwp pics of sandwiches I say! I will take one of mine in a minute

nice thick brown bread, mozzarella, tomatoes, basil, salt, pepper - job done.

toasted if you like, or not, or in a roll or something tis versatile

Well, probably not, it's some sort of roll/bap/barm/cob etc.

something cheese based, with at least one other ingredient
maybe brie and grape or goats cheese and roasted red pepper, in a pannini or ciabatta (and always hot/toasted out of preference - so the cheese melts)
grated cheese/coleslaw/salad if im feeling lazy
