I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised by the noise. Its not as loud as I thought it would be at around 55/60%. This is the first time I'm using a reference Nvidia cooler - the sound signature is really nice.
That said I'm still going to put it under water, especially since my ASIC quality is so low. Anyone have the EK Water Blocks EK-FC Titan X - Acetal+Nickel? Some pics would be nice.
Just arrived today.
What overclock do you achieve on your non sc version?
I think they all overclock much the same SC or not.
I thought they are cherry pick for SC version. If not, even better. So why did you buy multiple SC versions yourself over normal one? Ok, next couple of hours I am going to chase any comparisons between 980 sli oc vs titan x oc. Still on the fence if buy another card or use step up to titan plus this AIO hydro kit?
Add Me =D
Need to tidy up and swap that black cable for a white one!
But running nice and cool at 49c with minimum fan speeds on the MO-RA3 when gaming.
I'll get my name on the hall of fame as well -
Got mine last Friday
How many guys here would be tempted to move to the red team if the 390X beats the Titan X by a good 10% - 15%?
What games, settings and res are you using?
Is it required or just caching?
As a rule I usually tend to agree with you,
but saying that 8Gb cards will be obsolete b4 launching is a little extreme.
With Windows 10 and DX 12 about to launch, the way we think/presume things will work are about to be turned upside down IMHO.
again this is daft, nobody will ever be on 8K
I'd actually say most gamers keep cards for 2 years +
Enthusiasts however like shiney new things
Stop using 8XMSAA and GTA won't use 8GB. I can barely get it to use over 4GB with 4XMSAA at 1440p.
It's possible to bring a lot of AAA games to their knees if you set out to try. Anyone worth their salt knows anti aliasing is a killer, people should be more interested in what LOD texture fidelity is possible with reasonable settings.
6GB is still capable of driving 4K without much if any grievance, but I'll await your next example Kaap lol.
8GB is 8192mb Not quite there.
