Kaapstad, how much radiator space have you dedicated to your four titans? In the process of building my system and have allowed a 480 and 240 ekwb rad to cool three titans.
I use a 480 and two 360 rads to cool 4 TXs and a 5960X.

Presumably your running a decent overclock on all your cards and cpu?
Just run 3D Mark Firestrike with my new SLI setup:
3DMark Score 15757
Graphics Score 26471
Physics Score 9168
Combined Score 5328
Graphics Test 1 125.95 fps
Graphics Test 2 105.96 fps
Physics Test 29.11 fps
Combined Test 24.79 fps
Seems a little low.
It's your cpu. Your Physics score is lower than my old i7-920 @ 4.0ghz which on my last run scored just under 10k in the physics score. It's enough cpu to drive one top end card but not two.
Awfully quiet round here these days, anyone expecting to see some BF/CM deals on Titan X's so I can go SLI
The Titan X is a wonderful card, but once pascal hits these will be slower then any pascal. Would rather only lose a little on Titan X now then a huge amount later. In fact I made most of my money back
That's twice you've done that Kaap.
It's just the AIO. I bought the Titans months ago
Thought I'd get round to doing this.
I'm very late to the party but I just traded my 2 Gtx 980's in and got a Titan x, at 1440p I'm not seeing much difference in performance but I'm not running in to vram limits anymore obviously also I'm loving this card. Single gpu seems a lot smoother than the sli setup and it's quieter and cooler. Hopefully I won't feel the need to go for pascal now, I've got it boosting to 1399 without touching the voltage seems about the nor for these cards
It's a pny card
Just an updated picture for the roll of honour
Temps are a bit higher than I expected but at least it's quiet now. The coil whine is louder than anything else
The 12gb will keep it high because of 4k where 2 or more are sweet
Again with this nonsense that only applies to you.......
Do you see anyone else here with 4x TitanX? No. Your literally posting information as fact, when it only appplies to 0.0001% of the population that's prepared to spend £4k on graphics cards to play games.
4x1080 (with normal SLI connectors) will outperform 4XTitans. Remember NVIDIA publicly said than the 1070 is faster than the TitanX, so the 1080 is faster again etc.
Plus once Pascal releases, the vast majority of driver optimizations/development will be for Pascal cards. So won't matter how much VRAM your Titans have when the drivers are garbage for future titles.
Have Nvidia stated 2 way sli is max? I thought it was said one of the reviewers asked if 3 sli worked and they got the answer yes.
12GB Can trump 8GB yes ,, will depend on driver optimisation which i think nividia will let favour the 1080's, in saying that i expect titan 'x's at least to still be sold for awhile due to that 12GB premium Nvidia charge
