The guinness £10,000,000 advert

You don't know what you are missing.

I wasted many years drinking larger before I discovered Guinness.

Come over to the dark side and you won't regret it ;)

I quite like the stuff as well. For me it's a great slow pint. If I want to have a good night without getting slaughtered then 4 or 5 pints of guinness works quite nicely.

Likewise if I just want to pop down the pub for one after a game of squash it lasts a lot longer than a pint of becks et al.

Because it's got very steep and very long hills. Makes it great for a domino race, but bad for the crew lugging kit and getting from the bar at the bottom of the hill to their hotel at the top!

But why a village in Argentina? It's such a bizarre fit for the product.

Also, it's interesting how this advert and others like the vodka one posted earlier, Bravia, Honda, Skoda (with the cake), Dairy Milk all have only snippets of the actual product. Clearly it's all brand advertising but it' interesting how the focus is off the product.

Didn't you know that guinness is the sphisticated international drink that can be found and enjoyed anywhere in the world?

It's not simply the drink of culchy bog-hopper, but can be enjoyed in every exotic region of the world.

I do think the Guinness advert goes well with the whole 'Good things come to those that wait' idea.

Sony's paint ideas and bouncing for vivid colours makes sense.

A Gorrilla playing the drums to advertise milk chocolate.... thats just bizarre... I can't see why so many people like that advert personally. It's okay... but it's just a bloke in a suit playing the drums.

Good, not as good as the Honda advert.. and the camera likes to change a bit much.

Not sure if it's to hide the illusion of multiple takes, or the director was pants 6/10

I certainly didn't know it was sophisticated :D but yeah I know it's a worldwide brand. Is it a worlwide ad then and not just for the UK market?
