So many dour threads these days, let's share the happiness.. 
Just thought I'd write this thread to share how chuffed I am with my life at present! Everything just seems to be going swimmingly (touch wood). I don't know if any of you remember, or even read the thread, but I split up with my girlfriend of 3 years a few months back, then got fired a week later. I also had a pretty rough time for 3 years prior to that, but this is a happy thread and I wont go into it.
I have to say though that those two experiences have turned out to be the positive of my life so far. Since then, I've quit smoking (both marijuana and tobacco), lost a stone and a half in weight, become the fittest I've ever been in my entire life, taken up several new hobbies, salvaged my degree the best I could, got myself a hot new plaything, and got myself a job I actually enjoy.
Anyone else feeling particularly good these days?
