The Hitcher Remake

Now they've remade The Hitcher, what for, they'll never capture the brilliance of the original and they've got Sean Bean playing John Ryder, it just won't work, he hasn't got the presence of Rutger Hauer, I just wish they'd come up with some new ideas, rather than messing about with remakes.

As with lots of cover versions, the worst thing is the majority of viewers/listeners will never experience how good the originals are or that they actually exist

I had never heard of the hitcher until a few months back, stumbled accross it one night on film 4, quality film.

Can't see the remake being as good.
