I can imagine the postman turning up and Virus calmly peering through the letterbox...... "Go away cretin!!! Your not from DPD!!!"
 
OR tomorrow NV bring out a 300GTX wich is twice the speed and half the price :eek:

Why would anyone buy a 5870 for £300 when you can have 2x 260GTX in SLI for slightly under £200? assuming you have an nForce, X58 or X55 board.
 
or the 5850 at a bargain £200, theres not much need i honestly dont think for the 5870, not for me anyway, i could overclock the 5850 badboy and be on par with the 5870, or for the price crossfire it

Because SLI doesn't always give you double the performance. You miss out on the bonus of a single card, and you miss out on DX11. DX11 might not be a big deal now, but unless you plan on ditching the 260's in the next 2 years, it will be.

5850 is where it's at IMO.
