The King of Limbs is here

Heh, stick to JLS and Katy Perry if you like artists who toe the line.
There are plenty of them!

It took me a few attempts for my pre-order to eventually get through. Using PayPal might be more reliable. Just in case anyone else was also experiencing difficulty.

Get over yourself.

My point is that Radiohead are not bound by any conventions or rules at all. If they wanted, they could release a 70 minute album of Phil Selway hitting his drumkit with a trombone and no one could stop them, and the stupid thing is that some idiot would pay for it.

We clearly have very different ideas about what should be expected from artists!

If Radiohead feel the most artistic merit lies with an album of Selway bashing his drumkit, then that is what they should release. There is no risk in a band doing whatever they like. It is what they should always be doing.
As I said, there are plenty of 'artists' that are creatively controlled by their label if that's what you prefer.

Anyway, I don't want to derail this thread based on one silly comment.

Roll on Saturday! :D

LP with MP3 ordered. Will grab the CD whenever that shows up.
I don't think I'll sleep all week now. Just give it us already!!!!

I expect it to be a lot more electronic if These Are My Twisted Words was anything to go by.

Correct..album of the year no doubt. I'm firmly in the camp of Radiohead can do no wrong

That's not even sarcastic is it...:/

Seriously though, I do hope it is a masterpiece of the electronic variety, after someone, probably Fubsy, mentioned it! But I am going to wait for reviews first. It's about time they released a new un in any case.

But,.....WTF is a newspaper album?

I think this is at least the inspiration for the title:

Ordered the newspaper version after listening to their entire discography again and realising there's hardly a song I hate. Quite intrigued as to what they mean by 'newspaper' though. Or the 600-odd pieces of artwork!
