The last game you completed, and rating.

It's pretty simple really, theres 22 levels. You start off with a gun, and by the 5th or 6th chapter or maybe slightly further on you get most of the weapons. get better slowly, not difficult at all. unless you set it to nightmare.

each level has a mission and you fight your way through various hordes of demons to complete it.

its on gamepass so if you have that you dont need to spend a penny or if you have a ps5 with ps+ sub you can stream it for a couple of hours.
Thanks, i'll add it to the wishlist

Returnal - 10/10

I'm usually crap at these kinds of games but I loved Returnal so much. It never felt like I was punished unnecessarily. Just polishing off some bits and bobs to try and get 100% completion. But that will take some time so do a bit here and there. Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered next for me as well, @RoosterC

RDR 1 - finally, third time I've bought it. Played start to finish on steam deck, I felt it went on abit to long but still a really good game with a ton of different content.

10/10

Aaaaand finally (properly) beat Nier Automata. A/B/C/D/E and some other endings.

Firmly going in the top end of my favourite games, incredible atmosphere, world building, story and overall feel.

I also loved the gameplay, but, and I make no apologies, played a lot on easy with auto chips on. I actually really enjoyed this playstyle, kicking back playing on the steamdeck. I also played a bunch on normal, and the combat is immense too.

I'll deffo come back to this sometime - I didn't do every sidequest.

9.5/10

The Wolf among us 9/10
Finally got round to playing this and wow glad I did, the story is great and the overall polish is fantastic. Will definitely play through this again to try other options, would have been a 10 but would like to be able to skip some dialogue especially during a second play.
Also the sequel showing coming soon on Epic :) and I went on a buying spree in the sale so have all the other telltale games so just need to decide what's next

Warhammer 40K Rogue Trader - 9/10

Wowzers. I loved (almost) every minute of this game. It's long as hell but well worth it. The writing is incredible. The visuals are great. The music is just lovely.

My only negatives are that some of the battles (especially in the DLC) are too hard, sometimes borderline impossible. And that the navigators insight mechanic on the big map is a bit daft and quite frankly, pointless.

They are small niggles at best and don't really take anything away from what is now one of my all time favourites. It's great to see Warhammer 40k back in vogue and having some really good games made.

Mafia the old country, solid 8/10

Really enjoyed this game, simple old school story with stunning visuals and great voice acting.
Loved the setting and time period.

Wish more games came out with a more limited scope and a quicker development like this.

Freedoom.

Well, despite not liking too much in the way of the enemy art style, approximately 30 levels later I was still enjoying playing it.
I thought its main strengths was some of the level design and sound effects, though I often found the music to be not to my taste.
There's also a ton of secrets to be had - and it's free. ;)

Senuas Saga, Hellblade 2. Was on offer for £12 on Steam.

What an amazing showcase of what can be achieved with UE5. Just spectacular. Dark room, OLED and headphones just fantastic. Nothing is missing in attention to detail. I can understand why this just isn’t possible on longer duration games, the work involved must be something else.

Yes it’s not an all action open world 100plus hours game, it is what it is, a masterpiece of 6-8 hours that is just beautiful.

Well worth the sale price!

Completed Outer Worlds 2. It's getting 7/10. Would have been a 8/10 if it hadn't bugged and made me go back 5 hours. Overall enjoyed by 50 or so hours with it. Did feel a few of the fun weapons opened up quite late. Like the fact it doesn't let you get all the skills. Means I can do another run in the future with a completely opposite build and make different choices. Made my 4 month sub to gamepass worth it in one game.

Also competed Indiana Jones The Great Circle. No bugs in this one :p This is getting a 7/10. Story got it to that. Gameplay is the same repetitive loop all the way through. I think without the nostalgia of being born in the 80's it would have scored lower.
Game could have been called "Indiana Jones - Undisputed" the amount of fist fights you have. The random weapons are fun for the first hour. Then it gets very samey.

Anyway - onto one I feel I'm going to have a blast with - Rouge Trader.

Space Marine 2.

Got it in the Steam sale after xmas so didn't pay full price. That does affect my view as £55 (current price on Steam) is pushing things.

7.5/10 for campaign.

Its really a very nice experience running 1440p quality mode on Adrenaline with the game capped to 120Hz (get coil whine past 140Hz) on a 9070XT. I found myself quite often focusing on how nice the graphics were in a big fight while ignoring the fact I was dying again :D Its a little repetitive in places but mainly kept me interested enough for "one more checkpoint".

I intend replaying on a higher difficulty level and using other weapons than heavy bolters, flame weapons & a big hammer just to see how crap I am :)

Haven't tried any of the operations etc.

Detroit: Become Human.

I know I'm 7-8 years behind the curve, but whatever, I picked it up for £4 yesterday morning and have been playing nearly all weekend.

Fantastic experience. More interactive story than game, but it's one of the few games I think I've played where your actions actually have meaningful consequences to the progression of the story - as opposed to games which give you the illusion of choice, but the outcome still ends up the same.
I ended up regretting a lot of choices as I went through, but as per recommendation, I persevered as it was my first playthrough. Not happy with the ending - but I'm actually looking forward to re-playing at least the last few chapters, to see how the outcome could be different.

9/10.
