The Last Of Us

Im wondering if the reviewers may have stretched the completion time a bit, im taking my time exploring etc on hard about 3 and a half hours in and it says 30%

Still gunna be longer than most these days i guess! Enjoying it none the less
 
Mine was delivered yesterday and it was the Pre-order for Sights and Sounds Pack. But apart from the game and the online pass nothing was in the case. Is the Official Game Soundtrack on the game disc or is it meant to be a separate CD?

You should get a code emailed to you from whoever you ordered from . I got a separate email from shopto saying my code is on my shopto account page.
 
Anyone else finding the combat to be absolutely atrocious? Maybe it's just me not used to the aiming mechanics but I am really struggling in this game. Its like Joel shoots miles away from where I want him to. I don't know if its down to the aim assist or whatever. Really is detracting from an otherwise stellar experience.

Naughty Dog really have managed to showcase what the PS3 can do given time and experience. Imagine what they can do with the next generation.

I have problems aiming, not used to controllers, especially the ps3's.

All adds to the tension I guess.

Yeah I got an email code from Amazon for Sights and Sounds.

Took me about 16 hours, I explored loads and still missed stuff.
 
I went for the limited edition and i have downloaded all of the extras, but is there a way of moving the digital soundtrack from my PS3 to my iTunes?
 
When I first saw the reviews for this game I thought it was too good to be true. For me, it's completely that :( It's repetitive and has all been done before. If you liked original survival horror then it will be great for you but to me it's a ripped off game from the 90's with a plot that's been done before.

People complain when games are like a previous generation of games but seemed to have completely forgotten this doesn't do anything new either!

Yeah, or at least the day after. At least now we all know which companies to avoid for our next pre-orders!

Right, just downloaded the extras, I think I must have every single TLoU theme available now! :D

You're not alone. I had to force myself to push on in some bits. I got chills in certain sections.

I blame paranormal activity 2, never had chills before that film at scary moments.
 
Word of note about the audio settings: Leave it on default, you usually don't need to change it to 5.1. It's the same as the Uncharted games, you can pick a specific format if you want it but on default the PS3 will use the uncompressed audio from the game and feed it straight to your receiver. There was a post on a message board I read a couple of years ago by one of the Uncharted sound designers who explained it all.

Of course, results on different systems can vary and I'm by no means an expert, but default will be the best option for most people I suspect.
