I never said you did.
Merely pointing out that the vast majority of United fans have a negative view of Pogba and want him gone asap.
Nice guy and probably a lot of fun at a party, but has a very poor and self-important, lazy attitude - he could achieve far more if he applied himself professionally.
Again there is no evidence for any of that, it's just your bias showing. He's been very popular in every dressing room he's been in and is apparently well liked by staff too. Even Ronaldo got on with him this season. That doesn't happy if you're lazy and only looking out for number one.

Being popular and likable in the dressing room doesn't seem to mean **** if the performances are inconsistent.

By 'lazy attitude' I am meaning when on the pitch.
I don't give a toss about him been a likeable guy in the dressing room, what he does on the pitch is what I am judging him on.
He is extremely frustrating to watch, given that he is clearly a talented player that does not apply those talents to the best use.

Pogba was only managing 20 odd games a season. Wasn't he also using his own doctors in Dubai "recovering" and partying at his brothers wedding? He was faking much of his injuries due to lack of discipline and hunger.

I would compare him to a player like Matt Le Tissier. Absolute massive talent but wasted somewhat by a lack of drive. In doesn't matter what you do in life you need a bit of both to be good at what you do.

Fergie let him go for this very reason. That should have been a warning to everyone.

The only painful thing that makes it a huge loss is the 90m we paid for him but sometimes you need to know when to cut your losses. We did it with Lukaku and now we should also do it with Maguire.

It was well documented on social media, videos of him partying and dancing energetically when he was supposedly injured.
I'm no massive Pogba fan, you don't have to be a total invalid to be injured enough to not be able to play elite level sport.

When I wrecked my knee last year there was a long period when I could seemingly get around just fine, but would have collapsed in a heap if I tried running and changing direction on it.

Tabloids tabloiding I guess.

Yes I understand that, however when you are a professional high-profile football player on a massive weekly wage, you should be conducting yourself as such - not scoring own goals by your own poor social actions, be that genuine or not (a picture or video can be taken several ways).

He repeatedly hasn't done himself any favours.

Yes, when one is injured they should stay in bed for 6 months and not leave the house. it is the only way. How dare he go to a wedding, what a piece of ****.

It wasn't a wise move but Pogba doesn't care. He's shown a complete disrespect for Utd his entire time he's been at the club. IINM the incident you're talking about was a couple of seasons ago where Ole as good as told the world that Utd didn't believe his injury was serious nor needed surger but Pogba decided he was having it, that was after being out for months with the injury that Ole said should only keep him out for a few days. You then had all the times his agent was in the media telling the world that Pogba wasn't going to sign a new deal or wanted to leave. Raiola took most of the stick for this but he wasn't doing it without Pogba's knowledge. Pogba always done what was right for him. I'm sure he had a minor injury but players have little knocks all the time and play on with them - Pogba didn't want to be at Utd though and was trying to force his way out so took 6 months out. Similarly lots of players have contract disputes or want to leave a club without their agent going on national radio telling everybody of this the night before (or of?) a make or break CL game as Pogba's did.

Pogba isn't and wasn't the only problem at Utd and in some respects he's received a harder time than maybe he deserved however he was symbolic of everything wrong at Utd and his departure can only be a good thing.

Agree with pretty much all of that post but hes had a harder time than most for good reason.

- One of the best paid players at the club
- Easily one of the most talented players we have had in a long time
- Doesn't seem to care that much and puts in wildly varying performances, seemingly on a whim.
- Doesn't seem to care about the club at all and doesn't seem to care when the team isn't doing well

We have plenty of other players deserving of criticism but he stands out.

As you say, plenty of others have deserved criticism but Pogba has been the lightning rod for them. I'm not defending him but he's probably received slightly more abuse than he should have and others have avoided the criticism they've deserved because of him.

Agreed.
His unwavering disregard for the Club and it's values has placed him on the parapet for the most criticism.

I hope that several players are moved on very quickly, a full clear-out of players with the wrong mindset is needed.

On a more positive note, Ronaldo has won the Sir Matt Busby award, 60% of the vote went to Ronaldo. Apart from De Gea, no other player had more than 10% of the vote. Unsurprising really.

Shows how much the decline in performance generally across the whole squad has been, can't remember the stats been so overwhelming previously.
Bar Ronaldo and De Gea, none of them have had anywhere near a good season.
Without Ronaldo's goals this season we would have been well into the bottom half of the table.
