The Mighty Boosh

I watched the first episode of the latest series (the first series that I have seen) and just thought it was stupid. Generally im a big fan of all comedies mainstream and obscure but I just sat there wanting to die.

My flatmates are still singing 'eels' the song :/

this is most likely true on both counts, I'm just naturally weird so works for me
 
Very odd episode, but enjoyed it thoroughly. Had to watch it with my sister going "This is ****, turn over!" most of the way though it lol.

It probably was written with the help of quite a few narcotics, but who cares! :D. A lot of early South Park episodes were written with the help of Acid heheh.

Looking forward to next weeks episode now.
 
Hmm, the second ep is a bit 'not good'.. Seems they are purposefully trying to alienate some viewers. Which I'm not against per se, but I dunno, it seems a bit weak, and the production values have changed a bit more (again). Better camera work, decent cgi and bluescreen. And imo the biggest change, a proper(ish) musical score.

I fear the end of the boosh as we know it.
 
Watched this for the first time last night.

Was pretty dissapointed. Certainly not a laugh out loud comedy by any means. Even so, my housemates all gave compliments to it. This ammused me, they seemed to find it funny simply because they should.

Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe however, was absolutely hilarious. It made everyone laugh far more (upwards of ten times) than the mighty boosh. On that basic, I can only conclude the mighty boosh as being a fairly poor / average programme, although it did raise a few chuckles.

Ive never bothered to watch the mighty boosh but last night I stumbled upon episode 1, season 3. The hitcher instantly reminded me of malcolm mcdowall from clockwork orange lol.

And what was that man/lady thing all about HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
