the new btcc line up

Did any one get to see it this afternoon? I caught it half way through and i must admit that itv have done a ecellent job with what theve got.

Theve not only got the main btcc races live, which is fablous compared to 1 live and 2 highlights, theve now got a intercom and with the drivers during the race (first time was with matt neal behind the safety car, wish they did that in f1) & also a proper pit crew so you can see interviews with the drivers.

Theve also stinted out to show the surport races which i found more fun than the f1 today, which ranged from formula fords to gt speck saloon racing, looks like itv sport is not dead after f1 left

They had all the above last season, makes for a brilliant lazy Sunday infront of the TV.

hmm must have missed them last season, all i got was the highlights not the full 6hours of content...

Definitely the full package on ITV4 last year, only starting later with the first BTCC race replayed rather than live and less support.

I think the real thing for me is the Touring cars are good but some of the support series are really great to watch. The Clios are always thrills and spills and accidents, the junior Ginettas are always entertaining with lots of passing, the Formula cars are a nice change from the saloons and always fun to watch.

The G50 Ginettas were great to watch today I thought. I am glad they are not like the Porsches which can be dull. They were hard fighting, close together quick and spectacular which was fantastic!
