Genoma let me know what that lens is like please, I am very tempted to order one.

I was at a wedding yesterday and took the 70-200 f2.8 II IS. What a lens, proper proper impressed, it's a delight to use and TBH the weight of it wasn't as bad as I was expecting.

And going back to the NAS discussion we had, I've sent the greens back and I'm using a 3TB, a 2TB and two 640GB's till I decide what to get. 3TB is enough, for now. I really want to get 4TB's but they are too expensive right now.

New new toy.

I really have zero idea how to go about using it to it's full potential but it should be fun finding out. I'm liking what it's done so far. I may try and find some sort of camera club around the Blackpool area to see if I can learn a little more about what it can do :)

A couple of shots I took today:

Hardly willy waving or expensive (£12) but a big step for me - my first fully manual lens, it has a good reputation and it is for me to learn with

SMC 50mm F1.7

It is a compromise between me and the missus, she quite rightly thought it would be a bit silly buying a 250 quid lens (Cosina 55mm F1.2) when I have never shot manual. However, I had a bad case of LBA for the Cosina so couldn't not buy a lens, so providing I get on with this technique wise, then the Cosina is the next one on my list :D

Haha, remember it's always easier to ask for forgiveness than permission :D

You'll love it, I did mine, so much I bought it twice! :)

Nothing amazing, also got the cuff but probably won't keep it. Seems pretty pointless and I imagine if I dropped my camera my gut instinct would be to try to catch it and follow it down anyway. :D

I will ask a trimmer at work for some better padding for the Leash and Mod it a bit :)

Flashbender came with a sample of their gels and band. I think that will be my next purchase. Well after another 600RT and a couple of Ezyboxes :D

Due to not being able to decide on a body I've decided to buy my first lens instead and just use my gfs 400d until I commit

Lens is now out for delivery :O
