Yep running tiger snes, and super mario kart fine, also have desert strike for the genesis working fine.

Im running pauls froyo release.

Batteries are delivered with some charge. I have seen claims that batteries going into storage should be given a 40% charge.

Having unlocked and using a Virgin sim card I find that there are no signal bars in operation though I am able to make and receive calls - do I have to unload the Orange os or use the orange sim?

Looking all over for one of these for my Son for Christmas but the only ones i can find in stock (so to speak) are on the bay and they're going for over £150. He only as £100 of is Christmas money left

Anyone know where i might find one, any point in ringing round local Orange shops?

There's a chance you'll find them in the local Orange shops, however the price is £99 + £20 topup.

definately, when i got my wifes online was showing no stock, i phoned my first local store and they had 2, so its worth a shot, as its for a chrimbo pressy and you get stuck id happy help out if i could by phoning the stores around here

£20? they wanted £10 when i bought mine but i managed to get that waived anyway as i gave them a payg orange number

Thanks guys, I think i may have an orange sim kicking around. I'll try using that. He's on ASDA mobile atm so would be nice to unlock the phone so he can just put that in

Has anyone found a decent case for this phone yet.

I've seen some for the Nokia E71 which look ok but has anyone found a case that fits really well?

Got an OLED one (build number ending B05) yesterday morning from the Orange shop in Leicester. The guy in store opened the box and powered the phone on to show it to me. So you should be able to check the build number (...B05=OLED?)

I bought an E71 case from Ebay ( Ebay links allowed? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BLACK-LEATHER..._MobilePhonesCasesPouches&hash=item1e5c645919)

Fits very well, can get to all the connections and side buttons and the camera can still see from the gap in the back although its positioned horizontally and not vertically so the back doesnt look that great.

Cheers going to order one of them. Sure it will offer better protection than the free sock which has fallen to bits....
