I then ninja'd her T-Mobile sim out of her phone and unlocked but was only able to get phone & text because she isn't on a data plan?
I would link but I'm using my phone. Better to just google t-mobile android apn settings. Most phone companies have the info on their support sites.
does anyone know how to stop wifi switching off when the phone goes in sleep mode (or making the phone reconnect when its woken up)
Hmm...my phones really slow atm, using modaco 2.2

Kept harping on to my dad about getting a san fran. He called me earlier asking where to get unlock codesHe's technically minded but I think a lot of android features will still go over his head.
Should see him Saturday so hopefully see if he got a TFT or OLED. I assume he bought his in Norwich.
Email retrieval without phone signal. Not sure you can, it's something all android phones do , not sure why you'd want to switch that feature off either.
picked one up this afternoon but i cant get it to unlock, ive put my o2 sim in but it just loads up as normal and just says no sim on the top corner. any ideas?
