The Newsroom - New Drama from Sorkin

It's mainly because S2 doesn't have the character backstory developments that S1 had and now they're all established in their roles. It's still brilliant though but what I'd like to see more of in this season is more from Will live on air like we did in S1.
 
I enjoy this show and watch it every week, I'm yet to work out if it's pretentious crap though. It's completely unrealistic though, at least the characters actions anyway, I think some people don't realise it isn't serious though .
 
It's the way it is because it's perfect like that. Have you seen other works from the same creator? Studio 60?

This is the best format for this kind of show and it's the kind of show you have to think about because if you miss something then by the time you realise the meaning to a line 5 more will have passed.

It's not real but the sideline news they talk about and show is based on actual events.
