Took the OH & her parents out to The Pig at Bridge for lunch today.

Saddleback Crackling & Apple Sauce.

Pigeon Breast, Courgettes & IOW Pepper Caponata

Rye Bay Scallops, Padron Peppers & Spring onions

Smoked Sardines, Greenhouse Chilli Mayo & Oak Leaf

Gemini Lemon Sole, Spiced Butter & Pickled Spiced Chard Stalks

Broxhall Farm 10oz Sirloin, Chips, Salad & Peppercorn Sauce

Longland Farm Duck Breast, Broad Beans, Peas & Cherry Sauce (not pictured)

Homemade Ice Cream

Hugh Lowe Strawberry Trifle, Birds Custard & Toasted Almonds

Iced Blackberry Terrine, Tom Hulmes Blackberries

Washed down with coffees, Gads #5 beer, English bubble and orange juice for me the driver, well apart from one glass of Bubbles :)

That looks spot on and one I would gladly make an excuse to take the 5hr drive to visit.


Thanks - It's the second time we've been (only 15 mins down the road) and was delicious ! They change the menu with the seasonal veg and all food and drink is locally grown / sourced (a lot even on site at the farm)

At £37ish a head it's also great value and a very relaxed casual dining experience
