The OcUK FIFA08 league (360): Season 2 sign up

Which is all well and good, I actually don't mind either way, a goal is a goal.
Just wish I could get into the positions to do it in the first place.
Also, on the very odd occasion I actually reach the byline I prefer a high cross and a headed goal, always feels like more of an achievement.

gamerTM's 3rd goal was a doosy, lovely little chip to the edge of the area followed by powerful header into bottom corner.

4th one was crappy defensive error where my keeper gave the ball straight to his striker. Did it twice against Souja aswell!!

Damn I should have quit all my games in the last minute and I'd still be unbeaten :p

You should do well, you have the 4th best "statted" team in the league.
 
lol, I was quite surprised by the 3rd goal, didn't think it was going to go in, thought the keeper woulda caught it:p

The thing that I hate, is I like to take shots outside the box. When I do, no matter how much power I put into it, the keeper always seems to hold onto the ball, whereas if you do a little tap inside the box the keeper will parry it away, its soo annoying!:mad:

EDIT-Andy, don't start this up again, seriously.
I don't quit for the sake of it, I can win with high scores and give the best players a good challenge (you ;) )

Was a crap game if I'm honest and nobody deserved to win. Did you see when my player was clear to head to the ball into the net but just stood there like a donkey? That's because the game wouldn't let me select him, ******* joke.

argh, 3 defenders just let your play run 30 yards, I hate it when that happens.

great game though

yeah, he is strong, i have player like him but for some reason my players where serisoly slow turning with the ball dont know how many times you just checked them.
 
I must say, I am really enjoying this, more than I thought I would, and even though I cannot attack or defend for the moment, hopefully by the time I have played 30 odd games I should be good enough to challenge in the next league.

The one niggle I have is that no-one really talks. I know it can break your concentration but I like being able to comment on how I think the game is going.

I lost 9-0 to Andy last league, at the end I was still trying to compete (Not that the scoreline shows that!) Just hard to concentrate through a cloud of tears & laughter! :D

If you concede a goal, you don't quit and think "Well, I thought I was better than him, so really we should start again.."
