MB, have you considered looking into hiring a porta loo?

Dunno what prices are like, but it might be something we can all split the cost of?

Seems like a sensible idea if we can do it.

Thanks for the sugestion I am investigating it right now. If its viable then we will have room for more people, possibly everyone but there MUST be some sort of agreement that we will leave the place as we found it!

That many people mean a lot of mess and I don't want my parents left with a horrible mess AND big yellow patches from our tents being pitched!

I agree with a number limit.

I also think it would be nice for a token gesture to matt's parents. We're going to be there a while after all. Maybe a bit of money or something.

They are happy to have people there, they have some big parties of their own and enjoy the atmosphere, I expect them to join in with the drinking etc!

My nan lives there too and shes very partial to good looking young men ;). She is 80 though

I had a feeling you were going to say that :)

If its all the same I'll try and organise something anyway, even if its just a token gesture.

I've show Nan you picture and she says you can put your tent on her little bit of grass round the back of the Granny Annex! ;)

On a more serious note, just organise something at the time, a couple of bottles of nice wine will go down very well and they can be picked up at one of the nice shops in Pembroke which we will drive through on a few occations over the weekend

Mum and Dad are planning on pulling the barn down before we get down there, they are going to keep all the wood for us so we can have a nice bonfire and have already picked out a spot suitable.

We'll be located in the top half of the paddock which is away from the house and has room for quite a few tents, so if we aren't limited by facilities we should be able to accomodate a few more people. I'll speak to Dad tonight and try to get him to grab the farmer and see if he wants to turn away a whole load of business and if hes willing to take a larger group as a favor to a neighbour :)

My wife AKA Wild Lotus has developed a bad back recently and may have to sleep inside on a proper matress, unfortunately she has trouble sleeping when I am not there particularly when its not our bed at home. Its a big sacrifice but I may have to sleep in the house in a proper bed :(.

We'll see how it goes

Ahhhhh Piggy is so sweet that she hasn't worked out this might be a ruse to allow me to sleep in a proper bed Shhhhhhh!

Actually H does have a bad back but she is OK sleeping on her own, at least thats what she tells me!

Found this

St Petrox
Grid ref. SR970975
Map N/K
Charges £2.50 pppn
Facilities Shower, hot water, fridge, milk, bread and eggs.
Directions From Pembroke (not the docks) head towards Bosherton on the B4319. The campsite is in the grounds of a church with a tall tower.
Comments An excellent site with a friendly owner - just don't try bunking off without paying. Very good food to be found at the pub in Stackpole.
Contact Bill or Brenda Griffiths 01646 683980

This would appear to be the correct site, £2.50pppn can't be bad and you can buy milk, bread and eggs too :). I forgot that this area attracts a lot of rock climbing clubs so they might not mind slightly larger parties.

Who wants to do some subtle investigation?

sure mate not a problem.. let me know either by e-mail or msn if a place comes up. Maybe you could ask those three because if i can't get a pitch for me and the bro.. I'll book a local B&B. (jessy)

MB can I have 2 small pitches - Pleaaaseee!

The commercial site is going to be just fine and you won't be alone :)

I'll definatly line you up for a place at the house if someone drops out but what I will say is that you can have parking for the bike, possibly even under cover at my parents if that is a concern :)

Members in Yellow are assured of a place to pitch their tent at the farmhouse. This is for your own good, we only have normal house facilities at the farmhouse, not enough for 50 odd people who need the loo all at once!
