SSH, or you can use RDP too if you need an interface.

From what I remember when I was reading up on this a while ago, you can't SSH to a Mac unless it's already logged in. And I didn't think it was possible to RDP into it unless it was logged in either. Hence why I'm curious.

I have a model M mechanical keyboard plugged into my iMac because it spends 99.9% of the time RDPd to my work laptop.

I've written CMD on the Windows key and OPT on the Alt key for the occasional time I use them in macOS, it does mess up my muscle memory a bit!

The article says it, but just to highlight this is only USB-C, so max 10Gbps transfers - Thunderbolt 4/5 needed to start matching onboard storage.

That's such a shame, it could have been the perfect solution.

A 40gb/s SSD enclosure costs that much so if it’s 40gb/s I expect it to be £100 more.

For an enclosure with all those ports AND an internal nvme socket, and which matches the styling like that, I'd pay £100 more for one that ran at full squirt.
