Obviously it is, because it's wrong to expect a game you've paid for to work to its fullest if you bought from the wrong graphics card vendor!

Attempts to hack your way into getting the extra effects without having bought the requisite cards isn't stealing now?Fixing broken technology is stealing now?![]()
It's not wrong as in "right and wrong", but it is logically wrong; the PhysX deal was announced two months prior to the game's release. ATi users weren't tricked, and as I said before, should never have had any expectation of any PhysX, on any game, ever, in the first place.Obviously it is, because it's wrong to expect a game you've paid for to work to its fullest if you bought from the wrong graphics card vendor!

There's no need for you to respond further, because there is just no disputing any of that. No retort, no comeback, beyond witlessly emotive "oh proprietary technologies are just so unfair" whining.
^Feel free to do so, I ain't your keeper. The factual win is mine though.

It's quite amazing that people are moaning about Nvidia not letting them use home-fix workarounds on their patented technology; none of you should have any realistic expectation of being allowed access to something that you haven't paid for.
In blunt terms, you're attempting to steal. That's actually okay with me, I'm certainly not abhorred, it's just the "moral" outrage at Nvidia not facillitating your theft of their product that gets me. I mean, heh...
Virus, with that spec, can you run the CPU test in 3DMark06 at playable frame rates yet?
My old decrepit PC gets about 1 FPS in it.
Idle power consumption is silly low though ain't it Tom.

You know its load / peak usage?
How are you measuring that Tom? Is that a reading from the wall socket?
