**** The Official Chinese Phones Thread ****

I didn't think these were coming out until early late Feb/ Early March? Where did you purchase from?

I got it from Aliexpress from the seller i got my original Redmi note 3 from... Looks like your right about the release date! I'll have to open a claim once i receive it as it cost me £40 more than the X10 version.

anyone help with slow/intermittent messages, sometimes not receiving or sending on redmi note 2? latest rom version and on ee

Just sms or notifications as well? Think slow notifications is caused by having battery saving profiles on.

I was/am having similar problems with my letv 1. I think I have solved it though. My beautiful widgets clock was failing to change time in the morning and notification kept stopping.
I discovered that a bloat ware program called super manager had a setting to kill processes idle for long periods. I think this was killing whatsapp amongst others whilst I slept.

Do you have anything similar?

Still very happy with my K3 Note, with the single caveat that I wanted to play with Google cardboard but it doesn't have a proper gyroscope and apparently works poorly. Tempted to sell it for something similar but worth a gyro. What's hot in Chinese phones at the mo?

Well i have received my Redmi Note 3 Pro. I've compared it to my Redmi Note 3.

Note 3 Pro : 76693 3D = 17299 UX = 26342 CPU = 26000 RAM = 7052

No worries. Just had a quick check for you. Seems 3g and 4g will work. But not 2g. Very odd for 2g not to be supported.

Looks a great handset though. Gsmarena reckon the battery is good for 107 hours in their battery test. Which is insanely good

Do you think that would be a problem? I guess that includes 2.5g (GPRS) and 2.75g (Edge).

Can't remember the last time my phone displayed either of those.
