I just saw that myself, not sure how it is that cheap to be honest !

You sure?

I just bought one.

Theyve taken it off the page now.

But it showed as 3 left when I had a look.

OCUK if you did the same you'd have a stampede on your hands!

Could you absorb the VAT from the customer for an increase in sales numbers?

So, anyone got theirs yet?

Nope, phoned up this afternoon to find out why mine hadn't been delivered saturday to be told they'd only got a few in and they'd all been sold before i made my order at 6:30pm wednesday, despite the fact they were still showing as in stock on thursday and my CC had been charged. Feeling rather disappointed with OcUK at the moment.

Anyone got pics of the 2005 2405 and 3007 all in a line?

Id like to know if there is someone with:

A) Enough money to own each of these.
B) Enough computer hardware to run each of these.

When dell release the full line of LCDs (2007, 2407, 3007 eventually) they will have a side by side lineup.

Well I have enough pc's ( you really only need two - one for the 3007 and one to share the other two) and am seriously considering either the 2007 or 2407 once they are out---as long as the nnumber of inputs are upto scratch

Looks very nice!

But IMO it's just to big for a computer monitor. A 2405 just fits in my peripheral vision, but I think this would be just pushing it. What is the need for a computer monitor THAT big unless your a pro CAD user?

I'd much rather have a 32" proper HDTV for the same/less money than this. Suppose you could have both!

I can think of a lot of uses, i can have flash and dreamweaver and photoshop open all the time now!

While watching a movie of course.

And chatting on msn. Ha

OMG!

when a screen dwarfs the 2405FPW, you know it's big!

these remind me very much of when the 2405FPW was released and people had it next to their 17"-19" models!

Shame there doesn't seem to be any definitive way to find out which gfx cards support this beast. According to Nvidia site, the 7800 series features dual link which would cover me, but i've seen conflicting info.
btw, what happens if you run something at less than 2560? does it just become more 'blocky' like any other monitor or does the actual rendered area decrease?

All you need to confirm is whether the graphics card in question has a dual-DVI transmitter.

All of ATI's X1000-series do, starting at the ultra-cheap X1300 and moving on up to the X1800/1900.

I've ordered mine and it should be here early next week. I'm going to run it off a Radeon X1300 (£65 card). Let's hope it really is better than my current 2405FPW.
