Good runs in IB tonight chaps, I managed to go up three light levels and got some good drops.
I especially enjoyed the couple of matches against the team who didn't seem to have grasped the fact that you have to pick up the crests after a kill!

Yeah that was hilarious.
A couple of questionable matches (wouldn't be Destiny PVP without a bit of lag) but overall was a right good laugh.
I am loving Gunslinger atm. Frontier was hilarious with me just ploughing through the entire enemy team with a Golden gun (cue GoT theme...
).
The new levelling system and bounties are a welcome change (much faster getting to max rank) and the end screen drop rates seem just as good as previous IB's with the exception being that anything from the IB loot pool can drop (all weapons etc).
Got really nice rolls on the scout, auto and shotty, now just need the pulse and hand cannon to complete the set.
Will be back on tonight for more laughs.
Side note - Greboth will be re-organising the raid for later in the week. With him on a Titan and TX joining on his Warlock we look like we need a single hunter for the monitor/exotic quest run.

Im a warlock sat at 331 light I hope by then I can join in and be able to help

If IB just hop on into the party. Judging from Mach's ability to hold his own against enemies 30 light levels higher (topping the board more than once) you should be fine.
I was ~380 light and didn't really notice people dying faster or slower based on their light level (everyone appeared to be 350-380 in our games).
If you mean the raid then you need to target 350 light (with a load out you are comfortable with) as a minimum. The first section is 350 but it quickly ramps up to 370 light by the mid way point.
On the plus side with IB being on you should get there much quicker than with the normal grind (it is dropping artifacts and ghosts as well).

so reahced IB rank 4 pretty quick last night, some easy rewards.
Supremacy does my nut in, half the time you have a time who understands its not just kills you need to win, and other times you get morons who just kill, dont pick up the crests and let the other side take them back.
and to top it off me and the gf still cant join each others fireteam despite being in the same party chat.

Honestly....I was wrecking last night with the IB Auto Rifle, even though it's the pea-shooter bullet hose archetype. All the IB weapons are pretty good for PvP, just play a few matches and they'll drop.
I like the current state of PvP, it's as balanced as it's ever been. Scouts are best at range (but not much use in Supremacy as it's mostly close range). Pulse rifles are top at medium-long range. ARs like the IB one melt scout and PR users at close range....it's working really well for Supremacy.
Got the hang of fusions now, 77 Wizard with accelerated coils....without AC it was just too slow, but now it's just right, charges and fires before shotgun sliders get a shot off.
The IB auto is very nice but I really want to get my hands on the IB pulse. That thing was wrecking me left and right.
The IB fusion (well technically the one from the forge but same look) was utterly destroying in my earlier games (once I start to get tired my ability to aim takes a massive nosedive). Near max impact, max stability, decent range and range finder. Love it!

I meant the raid I'm usual free from 8/9 on wards providing I can get tv and the little one goes to bed! I'll keep an eye out on here and pop name down long as I'm right light level ! I'll use my jedi lighting skills of my warlock to fry all
Yep, apparently the IB pulse is really good, Grasp archetype. Really worth while playing IB this time round, you can get 5 bounties (1 extra from Shaxx) done in about 10 games. They give great rewards, got lucky with some 387 drops :O
Stuck to my Hunter, but this gametype caters so well for Shotgun Warlock's.

Odd you mention that it just dropped me a shotgun low level at 334 but better than what I had haha
Oh so that why I seem to be gaining rank quickest? I have a titan but he is only level 34 I rarely use him as I'm too lazy to go through all of it again with a 2nd character

Loved using the new IB weapons last night. Don't usually go for fusions and peashooter types but the IB fusion and auto rifle were wrecking.
I had some bad teams though last night, out of about 13 matches I only got two wins and the medallions only go up to 5 so there was a lot of wasted xp.
