I'm going to toot the horn for the IB auto rifle again for PvP :)

Earlier I turned a corner to see a titan just starting his Hammer Time animation. He was dead before the first hammer was thrown, it melts shotgun slider particularly as they tend to slide their squishy head into your crosshairs.

Other scouts can be brutal in the right hands.

Pulse rifles depend very much on the archetype.

I tried MIDA and hated it right away. To be fair if I try a new weapon and die a couple of times without any kills I immediately jump back to my preferred weapon. I'm using Red Spectre, I like it.

I've just started playing ROI today and I'm up to the dizzying heights of LL 327. I have had a sublime engram and exotic engram drop but haven't decrypted them yet. Am I right in thinking I should wait until I am at a higher LL to decrypt them?

Equip your highest level gear you have then decrypt it usual always gives you something higher then

Just level up with blues until 365 and if you wanna go a step further just equip each new blue as they drop and don't infuse anything until maybe 365 onwards. Saves a lot of materials. Have your favourite weapons upgraded though.

That's what I've been doing so far to reduce my use of legendary marks etc. Just equipping and using the blues that drop, then when I reach 350-360 LL, I'll start infusing legendaries and decrypt my exotic and legendary engrams.
 
Wow IB last night was .... *fun*

Just couldn't get in the groove at all. Pigtails was even worse as I have got used to my hunters agility that it felt like I was playing in treacle.

I also have a new hatred for juggernaut double shotgun Titans...

Hopefully tonight will prove to be more fruitful!
 
Couldn't get into the groove he says... I seem to remember you top of the leaderboard a few times :p

Didn't get anywhere near as many purple drops as I did the other night playing solo, I wonder if the chances decrease when in a fireteam. I just cannot get on with the IB shottie or autorifle at all though. The auto probably needs a better roll, as I've been fine with the Arminus/Zarinaea and Eidolon Ally which have the same sort of fire rates. My god it's an ugly looking weapon though.
 
Got a free evening tonight so I'll be on to run my hunter through IB....unless anyone wants to run the first bit of the raid quickly? I haven't started it yet.

Haven't played my hunter in so long, think I'll just go easy mode Golden Gun :)
 
It's weird as when I am in the game I feel like I am doing terribly (as in can't aim for toffee and fluffing up the simplest of plays), yet somehow the end screen shows I did ok.

My main problem last night was I couldn't find a load out which worked. I kept switching around trying to find one that did. In hindsight I should have just stuck with one and adapted on the fly.
 
IB AR and 77 Wizard Fusion + Gjally has been mine for two IB runs so far.

Cba with shotguns, it's a waste of time just trading shotgun kills. Better off using a fusion and having a chance of melting them before they get close enough.

Is there an IB Fusion? I haven't seen one drop. Got the pulse yesterday but didn't really get on with it.
 
The one from the Archon Forge in theory fills the roll of the IB fusion (Saladin's Vigil).

However there are two snipers (completely different stats but identical look) so perhaps there is a specific IB fusion as well?! (I haven't seen anyone using it if it does exist).

I might actually be that guy and dust off my Last Word. It is perfect for the shotgun rushers that plague the Supremacy playlist.
 
I have a feeling I might do the same :D Shotguns were doing my head in last night.

The Y2 IB handcannon with outlaw and reactive reload is beastly when everything procs. 2 headshot kills, thank you very much.
