Nice little vid on best boss weapons here plus as the name suggests a best of snipers comparison (no raid sniper though).

I imagine the raid sniper will be better than Devil's Dawn but technically weaker than Spindle due to the reload (which is quick enough but still has one).
The perk which gives it a 4 round mag from empty is what will improve its DPS (vs DD and crucible sniper).
I imagine it will also be noticeably better against the Arch Priest vs Aksis as the latter is not technically a fallen enemy (based on internal designation).
Vs the crucible sniper with a good roll however... hmmm. JPM has one with triple tap which would make for a very interesting comparison.
I have way too many legendary marks so I might buy it to do some testing.

I would quite like to take my Mrs's Warlock through if that is ok. Her WL is ~ 370 light with decent weapons and I can make up for a lack of DPS with pure skillz.
Also just confirming for tomorrow nights Aksis Phase 2 pick up:

I can't remember if you were able to make it Mid? If not we will have one spot free. Aiming for a relatively quick burn through as we know the mechanics and have easily enough DPS (so we don't have to rush / worry).

Can't make tonight, my next run will be Wednesday night next week for a HM WotM, same team if possible
It's not a hard fight skill wise it's just about communication so running with the same people will help.Got a couple of the snipers, had a look and they are the best legendaries for WoTM. The MG is pretty good too.
Might start plodding through my Dark Drinker quest for aksis though.

I'll give it a watch later but it will need to some convincing to get my to swap from my 1000 year stare with mulligan (for monitors) and triple tap for boss fights. It is especially nice as with sniper rounds on my chest I hold 16 rounds, 4 per clip so with triple tap I can get 20 rounds off per DPS round on Aksis. Reload is a bit slow but that really only effects the final DPS round as reload time is wasted DPS time. Though I fully unlocked my void blade yesterday so should be able to pick up quest and work on getting my Dark Drinker.
I can make the raid on Thursday but can't get on until about 8:30pm.

He is on xbox unfortunately otherwise quite a few of us would help out. There must be enough people on xbox who have the outbreak who can pick up the siva engine to help.
I kicked off my Dark Drinker quest today...on my titan. Going to be spending the next few weeks running around Mars punching stuff.
Forgot how bad the quest is....worst grind they ever put in the game.
I used the Siege of the Warmind mission:
1). Start mission
2). Get to no respawn bit
3). Smash up the waves of thralls with void ability
4). Throw yourself of the edge to wipe
5). Recharge super
6). Start back at step 2). until complete
That was with a warlock though... I'll start the arc exotic sword quest with the Warlock but probably do the solar one with the Titan due to all the angry flaming hammers. I will concede the Relic iron node farming was the worst though. The special materials appeared so infrequently i thought the game was broken and had to google it to check.
The sword kills in the crucible were my undoing as i have this real ability to die either just before the heavy ammo appears, as it appears, just after I've picked it up or some random team mate pulls it before i can get there.
That bit took ages and resulted in much anger. I'm not sure whether mayhem clash sped it up or slowed it down either?! LolIt was far worse for me as i had to do the new Thorn quest stuff at the same time.
I recently did the same and the RNG 10x materials on Mars was so annoying, even just doing a run for one at time everyday or so.
Friendly reminder, anyone doing a second or third sword. Remember to do it on the character that you did the original sword quest on. This allows you to skip the whole PvP section IIRC. I can dig out a link that explains it better if need be.
Gotta run around mars to collect stuff anyway so Void kills are coming about the same rate as materials.
Btw the crucible part, you can just smack people with the hilt.
If private matches count then I may just borrow a couple of people sometime who are happy to let me beat them to death with a hilt for a few minutes

Private matches don't count for anything quest related (they do for bounties though IIRC).
You can however have three people jump into a free for all (classic rumble) and kill each other.
I am on 1 kill of 25....
Still kicking myself for deleting the quest at the strike stage when I replaced my hunter (with another hunter... long story.... not very interesting... may involve changing the hairstyle....)

)Yup, I accidentally did that originally on a black spindle run. That's why I never completed it so this time picked it up on my Warlock.
Doesn't it do that if the particular character has done an exotic sword quest before?
