Did 2x vosik challenge mode last night. 1st and 2nd rounds use bombs to activate the safe rooms. You should then have activated all 4 rooms with bombs. 3rd phase nuke boss, don't need to kill him with bombs.

Pretty easy just need to chill on dps to not 2 round him!
 
Knocked out my Dark Drinker strike on lunch so if there's other people that needed to do the strike before tonight's raid then you take the spot.

If not I can run through it with you, only takes a few minutes.
 
I really need to finish the PVP portion of my sword quest...

I got bored half way through a rumble match and instead went on the offensive with my actual weapons (forgetting the whole point of why I was bottom of the table). Made me feel better at the time but not in retrospect...

I thought there is only 1 safe room per round?

we had all 6 going to the same room every round.
 
We had a very frustrating night with challenge mode. In the end up we didn't get it done and just went on with the raid as normal and said we'd come back to it. Our siva charges weren't activating the clean rooms? This was completely random. I witnessed this myself, there was absolutely no way I missed the button I was right in front of it.. it just didn't work I have no idea. Then next run I'd try again and no issues.

Did anyone else have this?

I'd like to get the sword today but I assume you need to unlock everything on the exotic sword again so wouldn't be using it in tonights raid anyway. So if there is time before or some other time I am happy to drop in to PvP with you to get the remaining kills.
 
Only takes 12 motes or something to unlock with a telemetry.

But yeah I'm happy to be a hilt victim in rumble :) Always good to run a few crucible rounds for weapon infusion anyway..

Doing it genuinely I found I could get 4 or 5 kills per game. So with me dedicated to dying it should hopefully only take a game or two at most :)

No worries mate!

Beat the challenge easy enough after a few wipes with the bombs not setting the door off.

Think we would have got aksis down if we had a Hunter tethere, but alas not to be. Mostly due to me being an idiot. Need to find a better strategy for killing the captains when Dark Drinker is equipped.
 
Great fun last night. Don't worry about a few wipes Midgen, we all contributed!

We also established that Oweo can't jump, and Greboth provided the philosophical view that living is more important than dying.

Oh, and we all got called Aussies. Random.

I was thinking about it afterwards, I wonder if gally is still the best choice for the mid captain. The sides aren't too bad being able to use the boxes and stuff for cover but the captain still gets a lucky shot once in a while. It means slightly less DPS on Aksis but we weren't struggling for that.

I don't think we need one, it could mean 2 rounding instead of 3 but tbh we should be able to make it 3 rounds to get him down. I am happy to try again tonight as some suggested in the party but I wont be on until around 8:30pm.
 
It's a shame the sword artifact doesn't reflect cannon shots, that would be perfect!

I might stick with gjally in the middle...it's just too risky closing in on the captain with the sword without cover. I did have a go using my hammers but you're very exposed trying to jump up and get clean hits on him (and you run the risk of falling off *ahem*).

Won't be around until next reset run I'm afraid.

Looking forward to the Zamboni challenge.

Each person has to carry each part at least once?
Each person can't carry the same part more than once?
All parts have to be placed at the same time?
