They have effectively gotten rid of snipers.

You lose all special ammo at the end of a round regardless of if you die or not. Means if you don't snipe all you need to do is rush the other team at the start of the round when they have no ammo and nade them then finish off with primary.

The only 2 viable snipers now are No Land Beyond and Icebreaker. Both taking up your exotic slot. Expect NLB and sidearms to dominate Trials this weekend. Then expect a mix of Parthian Shot, Auto rifles, icebreaker and shotguns (which are still effective if going round a corner and meeting someone point blank).

With legendary snipers now gone out the game, nobody will use last word. Your looking at Palindrome, Icebreaker combo now.
 
I think they do it on purpose. If they had balanced weapons and a large enough vault there would be no reason to grind.

What gun is nobody using? Well we will buff that and make it the best gun in the game (Raid Auto Rifle). Now people need to grind the raid to get that gun. Everybody had stopped raiding and now they will start raiding again to get that weapon.

Want the best scout in the game? Then you have to grind Challenge of the Elders to get the one that drops from the chest at the end. Eye of Judgement? or Hand of Judgement? lets nerf the most popular pule archetype and buff the least popular archetype. Now I have to grind a new god roll pulse in the right archetype. it keeps people playing. buff weapons nobody has used in years and nerf popuplar ones. it keeps people grinding to get the next meta weapon.

I don't expect them to change this at all it's been their since the start. A great game ruined by those that are only interested in numbers.

Wormwood - Got 3-4 rolls of this
Parthian Shot - Got 2 rolls of this
Trespasser
No Land Beyond
Icebreaker
Palindrome - Got 2 rolls of this

Need to get:

Suros ARI-45
Eyasluna
Eye Of judgement
 
Is their any content coming out between now and the second game? I never got rise of irons for the xbox and anyone I did play with have stopped playing. But I can get the whole bundle in the playstation store for £25. Still people in here play?

The problem isn't content there is tons of content. It resets weekly and there are timed events on all the time.

The problem is people don't want to play old content or the same thing over and over again with different modifiers.

I like the game for it's PvP aspect. Albeit laggy the pvp is really good once you have the weapons required to suit the Meta.

I play on playstation and I just keep adding people to my friends list through reddit fireteams, etc. I do have quite a few people I play with regularly too.

LOL, destiny needs 60FPS, dedicated servers for me and needs way more content. noway a pre order will see what happens :)

i'm saving up for Scorpio and oled 4k HDR TV, switched over to xbox :) i enjoy my halo, gears and forza way to much. i find PS4 lacking coop games i enjoy, good for singleplayer but not really interested in single player games.

currently playing halo, gears, forza, division (purchased on xbox) battlefront, rainbow six siege, titanfall 2 :D always welcome to add me, play 1v1 in halo, sure your pc can handle it :D

Fair enough dude, I re-purchased Division on PC :rolleyes::p Wait we can't 1v1 in Halo cross-platform can we? If you do get Destiny 2, what platform will it be on? Maybe, maybeee I'll invest in Scorpio

Whatever the latest bundle of all content is, I can't remember the name of the current one as there have been a few!

Kinda hope they don't put out some token April update and just wait til September for the big launch.

I guess we'll maybe see something around E3, definitely by Gamescom.

you need to be minimum lvl 5 for crucible (but your weapons will all suck so don't worry if your k/d is crap it will improve with time, better weapons and unlocking abilities).

other minimum levels are much higher. for example light level 385 for level based crucible to be competitive in things like trials and iron banner.

basically just play story or crucible until you hit a high enough lvl to thhen do strikes and when you hit 365 then start WOTM normal mode raid then WOTM hard mode raid

I used spark of light to be level 40. Can I do more things now?
