You have to pre-order for the beta and at gamestop you get a cade figure. Also a receipt for a PC limited edition has been shown.

Not 100% verified but seems legit.
 
Won't make it on tonight guys sorry, been at hospital today with little one not well so heads not in it plus he keeps waking up and been sick so won't make it on will rearrange
 
Been playing this for a month now, really enjoying it now. Light is 314 now, have got some 350 helmet from xur today. Rest of the stuff is nothing special. I do like the hand cannons now.

Am i right in thinking that light level doesn't matter in PvP and only matters in pve?

Does anybody fancy a blast (or three) through the NF? I still need to get Icebreaker. I should be on by about 6 if anybody fancies it.

I will ping you a message when you are on tonight either way. :) We are starting at 8PM so should allow enough time for everyone to get the patch downloaded (no idea on size) and tea etc.

I have read on the reddit that due to the update it isn't advisable to do the NF before it goes live (which is 6PM for us). It will either crash or you won't get the proper rewards.

I can run any, Would like to take me Warlock for the self res but I don't mind which :) Maybe Titan for blessings?

I'd prefer to run my warlock as he's at 399 but can run my titan as well which is at about395.

I wonder if there are any big changes to the raid. I'm glad I've done the middle section legit as well as all the ones who've only cheesed it will have that section to learn. Its not hard anyway and quite enjoyable doing it right.

I bet the rocks at the end of the first section are long gone.
 
Any tips or essential reading/viewing for a complete Destiny newbie? I have just picked up the game today for PS4 and will be starting from scratch with absolutely no knowledge. Figured that now The Division seems to have been put into 'maintenance mode' of development it will be going nowhere, whereas at least playing through Destiny will be experience well served for D2 later this year.
I've had a search, but most beginner type guides seem to be a couple of years old and I'm conscious that much has changed.
