I guess asking in the Destiny multiplayer thread and adding those people to your friends list is the only efficient way of doing it.
Its the only gripe i have the game atm, social tools in game are very lacking.

think you go into options , go across to roster and friends online is listed which you can invite to your fireteam or vis versa and it also lists randoms in your game that you can also invite

ah sorry you mean clan members, not a clue! , although I did notice 3 of my friends online in the roster list were all highlighted orange with the same logo, perhaps these were clan members, did not really check so not sure.
It was the classic insta death, walk round the corner and before I even got to ADS I was dead. I was killed by regular guns in the kill feed and I didn't notice any grandes going off or other people shooting me at the same time but doesn't mean there wasn't. I realised earlier that the PS4 has the share clip function so I could probably save it and look back to see if I can find out what happened.

Neither has mine.
I did notice some lag online though, I emptied an entire clip into someone and they just kept walking, and then a few seconds later it came up saying I had got the kill.

So should I buy a ps4 to play destiny on ?? I would quite like to play GTA 5 on PS4 when it comes out as well. Is there another killer game coming out this year for PS4? It seems to eb a mixed bag of opinions from what I have read so far on this thread.
I really want to play this but have decided to skip it for now, playing a lot of Diablo with the other half co-op, and Metro Redux for solo play, don't think I would put enough hours into this at the moment, so might grab it around the christmas holiday time.
I, personally, think the PlayStation 4 is worth it for their exclusives let alone that it is the more powerful (better value) console.
Grand Theft Auto is going to be just as fantastic all over again, Uncharted is coming too.

Upcoming games the coming days/months that could be nice to have on a PS4:

There are a few more but the above are the ones that first came in my mind. Some of them though are coming to the pc as well so depending on what type of gamer you, your pc, and how huge your tv is then you might need to consider your options. I think i will play the TLOTR in the pc as it will be cheaper to get and need an excuse to use the gpu which i recently bought.

Am about 15 hours in and realizing all I'm doing is the same mission over and over again, am I missing something?
This games seems to be a really good example of a jack of all trades master of none.
Everything looks / feels amazing but at the same time it all feels so sterile. It's like those american women that look amazingly beautiful but have a whole lot of nothing below the surface.

Whichever you have the most friends with destiny on.
Most people have gone PS4 as it has some extras for now. Both look and play the same.
Amazon haven't delivered for me again today, poor really. Gonna have to buy it after work instead
