*** The Official Destiny Thread (now includes 2.0 and TTK) ***

I think it's the prospect of loot that keeps me going (like it would do it Diablo or WoW for instance). That being said it's very, very samey and loot drops are few and far between, at least at my level (7, solo).

As mentioned above the graphics and smooth game play really help, as I believe without those I probably would've sold the game on by now.
Here's hoping the devs take heed in what the vast majority of people are saying and add some varying content to all levels, not just endgame.

And yeah, Dinklage's voice over is horrific. I don't think he could have been more monotone.

I'm enjoying it, yes it's a bit samey but it has the same appeal as borderlands. Levelling up, weapon upgrades etc. struggling on some fireteam levels on my tod, so if anyone wants to add then feel free

Decided going to return mine when it arrives, everywhere I read it's the same feedback I was hoping the game wouldn't be.

Im really enjoying it, got a Level 14 Warlock and 6 Hunter (because i played with a couple of friends who just started it and remade a character to make it even) The game is pretty samey and i do feel they could have done a lot more with it, as mentioned it feels a lot may have been held back for DLC purposes, I feel the gameplay is much better in this as apposed to Halo but agree in terms of it having much less content, the work of Destiny just seems lifeless as there isn't any interaction, borderlands had lots of humor and extra things to do which i miss.

I think I like the PvP. The reason I say think is my weapons are pants at the moment (low clip size, poor recticle etc), but it was a laugh to play.

How many people do you guys usually see out in the wild? I think I've seen a maximum of me and 4 others at a time, but my mate reckons in the beta each area was bussling with people?! Having so little people is making some public events a right pain in the bum!

I'm really like the competitive but 4 maps is really really bad seriously...

I've moaned previously about it, i love competitive multiplayer BF/COD etc. I do feel Destiny isn't what i wished for in terms of competitive. The lack of maps and gamemodes will undoubtedly make it boring pretty quick. The campaign/strikes and probably raids with friends is what will keep the spark alight.

Well I've played it a lot since release and love it!!

I got to level 20 this afternoon and been running the hard strikes to gear up for raiding, I'm playing a warlock as my main and really enjoying it (the grenades are sweet).. I think it's a really good mix so I can play how/when I want.

Roll on the raids :)

The respawning enemies are annoying. Playing earlier and after defeating some hard enemies we moved to the next wave, only to have the previous spawn in again behind us.

i found that really funny, i had to go back and save you .... LOADS :)

How else would they do it? It's an open world, one player kills an enemy then everyone else walks around an empty world? :p

the PvP is excellent, depending on the map really. There are some brilliant ones with brilliant choke points on control. The bigger the map the more likely it is to be a dud imo.

Been really enjoying this tonight, really fun with a few friends in party chat, we got to the moon and did the first story level there. We also did a few missions in the free roam patrol mode or whatever it's called.

Keep running into enemies with question marks above their heads, are these ones we aren't a higher enough level for yet?

That was quite cool, was just running a patrol around earth when an event spawned, a big ass beetle type robot thing, sadly didn't manage to take it down as it appeared that only myself and one other were trying and it had a five minute time limit, was pretty fun though :-)
