I saw the guy but can't buy it because you need in game money? I was under the impression I'd get that from the get go.

Odd, I got no code with my amazon copy apart from a free 1 month psn plus trial.

I could have sworn amazon and GameStop were offering this bonus with preorders:(
 
I got one with Amazon too, I thought all Destiny copies had it as it is printed on the front of the box? I did have the Limited Edition though.

Level 14 now mainly from PvP and haven't done nay of the strikes yet!!! Feel free to add me on PSN and invite for some PVE combatzzz!

I appreciate the sarcasm :p - I'm surprised how uninformed the average gamer on here is. You got a very obvious idea from the beta what this game is and what it's gonna achieve against whatever hype youde have noticed, you didn't need to do much googling on the matter.

To me I can't understand how people got duped when you got a much better idea from the beta than you would do from other games that don't. The beta was your own review so to speak so if you didn't like that you won't like the final game; if you were on the fence you won't like the final game...

I feel bad for the people who bought this blind, but then again that's their fault for not looking into it more. In this game content counts and Bungie still have a long way to go to prove that they can create that against the settings we will experience regularly and 'uniquely'. I was quite critical of the pricing structure and how 'undeveloped' each world was so I've tailored my expectations (and wallet) accordingly.

I'll say it again, this game only works with a fire team - everything is geared around that so utilise the membership here rather than playing with randoms...

The only thing I can work out with the vanguard codes is that the Limited and Ghost edition came with it, which is why people from amazon, gamestop and shopto got it. What GAME was advertising was a code to come with the standard edition I think. That's what I can work out from it all anyway :\
 
I forgot to say if people want another person for strikes and raids please ask me :). You need to be on voice chat though, just way too sterile not talking for me...

I can't help but want more from the game, I feel a bit cheated would have loved a solid story campaign to take me back to my Halo days , waaaaaah :(

I'll be hitting lvl 20 tonight, I'm off work tomorrow, so should have lots of time for strikes tonight / tomorrow.

PS4?

I have the mic that came with the console, I need to test it out. Can you literally plug any mic into the controller and it will work..? I have a bunch of headsets for PC with mic cables.

Not all will, most do - try and see. I know my iPhone one doesn't but my vita one does...

I'm level 20 but only just started Venus - need to redo the Moon one my own as jumped too much and lost the story
