Yea I did it with a couple of OCUK guys. I'm happy to help out if anyone else needs it while I'm online, as long as you are lvl 24+ with a fully upgraded lvl 20 blue primary weapon. The moon boss is ****in hard to deal with the adds when all the wizards / knights spawn, so you need fairly decent gear to take them down as quickly as possible.
 
Is there any people who are around level 8 who fancies doing some co op? I'm trying to level a second character up and this game isn't much fun alone!
 
Ok so cos I had the day off today, it's time to organise an OCUK RAID ATTEMPT!! (on PS4)

Lets say 2hrs max, TONIGHT 19/09 7PM - 9PM
(might go longer if it's going well - but bear in mind this will be PROGRESSION content so expect a lot of wipes as we learn the strats)

Requirements:
Minimum light lvl = 25
Minimum weapon attack = 242 (fully upgraded lvl 20 blue)

If your light level is below 25, we probably won't have enough dps. (Same with weapon attack - ideally have all 3 weapon slots with a fully upgraded lvl 20 blue quality item please).

I have more elements of every weapon, just listed some of the better ones. I also have over 20 ammo packs of every variety

I had the same problem, started levelling up a hunter, only got level 4 or 5 so too low for you but if there is a couple of good bounties they should see me up to level 8 quick enough.

Since the new consoles I have gone pretty much off PC gaming.

I'm trying to work out the different cult's and which to join. They all seem about the crucible which I did one game of and thought was crap and have not tried it again since. I much prefer the story missions and strike ones.

I have an emblem thing from the future war people but is it worth keeping or not ? Not even sure what it means tbh. I'm level 24 if that helps...

It just means if you wish to get rep with them, you can. It will override all rep gains to you get to any faction though. If you don't ever PvP you wont earn the crucible marks you need to buy items so its pretty pointless but you may as well hold on to it as its not like you need 9 different cosmetic items

Ok cool.

Is it just a case of wearing the cult band/belt thing ?

I might try the crucible again but I'm just no good at arena shooters and just die lots.... :)

If you don't plan on doing any PvP, there is no point joining any of the specialist factions because you need to use Crucible marks to earn gear from them.

It also stops you from earning Vanguard rep, which is what you need to access the PvE legendary gear from vendors in the tower (rank 2 for armor, rank 3 for weapons).

Ok I see so PvP is crucible and PvE is going to the planet's etc..

Do I just remove the banner/Belt thing from the Future war people to start earning vanguard rep again ?

Likewise. I really like playing PvP but I feel massively held back by lack of a decent weapon. I'm still using the blue PvE quest weapon and although it isn't too bad, I'd much prefer an assault rifle.

My luck with drops in general is horrible.

I can sympathise somewhat as I have the desire to attempt all the challenges this game offers (on the PvE side at least), but as I cant get a group for any of the hard stuff i'm limited in what I can do. Last weeks nightfall for instance, had some decent weapons for that and I was in a good position to do it, I just didn't have any friends to do it with.

I only just got to lv26 after about 50+ hours at lv25 and that's only because I bought a legendary from Xur. I actually bought 2(got a random exotic chest), not realising I couldn't equip both...nevermind :o

The good thing is if you've been hammering both the PvE and PvP side of things you should be able to get a full set of legendary gear with marks by now and since Xur is back you can get even more gear.

Hopefully I will be raiding tonight.....

Seem to be getting left behind i'm like level 15-16 and tbh don't have a clue how all the extra stuff works when you max out the normal stuff (level 20 is it?).

What is the best farming location? I need to catch up.
