I lucked out on the fusion rifles. I thought I'd chance it and log on just to check and behold they were for sale. Bought 8 and dismantled them all. Now for 200 fusion rifle kills...

Pretty sure you can buy from Vendors using the Destiny app. You can certainly browse the stock and I swear I've seen a buy button

Some people have got weapons as well!
But yes, I keep doing them because its a guaranteed legendary every time which is vital for upgrading the ones I have. It was a bit of a tongue in cheek complaint but still annoying!
I am now the proud owner of the Pocket infinity, Invective, Bad Juju, Super Good Advice and the Thorn. Along with the Thunderlord, Patience and Time and the Universal Remote

The Thunderlord is the best of the lot, that weapon is insane when its ramped up with the extended mag.

Is it 200 fusion rifle kills? I thought it was just 200 nightfall kills? Ganna need a lot of special ammo packs if that's the case
Edit - Wonder if it works on the easy enemies that spawn before the darkness zones?

How so many? Ive got 2 exotic bounties on the go at the minute for Bad Ju Ju and Pocket Infinity, apart from that ive got nada.

They were on 2 weeks in a row? That sucks. They did look nice though.
So i picked up my exotic bounty last night but after reading up it looks like it will turn into a hand cannon which i do not use. If i abandon it will i get given another one or will i have to wait AGES for it to be offered to me again?

Titan class, with no solar weapons yet so I expect I'd struggle when it came to killing the boss.
I did my second queen's mission last night, this time on Venus. It was easier than the Mars one except for Draksis. Stuck in a small room on your own with tough enemies than kill you pretty quickly was annoying. Got another purple helmet from it though.. (oooerrr
Solo tip:Don't go through the door and take out Draksis with 5 quick sniper rounds to the head before he hides.
That's exactly how I did it, if you don't go into the room the door doesn't close behind you, so I quickly put 4 rounds into his head and chucked a sticky grenade on him which more less had him, if you've got someone with you it's even easier as someone can stay on those stairs to keep the door open

You abandon and you lose it until the next randomly generated one. Look up the next ones before you accept the bounty to find out what you get beforehand.

If it's an easy one I'd be tempted to do it, and just dismantle it for those energy things you need to upgrade your other stuff!
I did kick myself after i grabbed it thinking i should have looked it up, didn't realize it was fixed loot associated with them. I will just abandon it and wait for another one.

I guess I just got lucky but I have handed in a lot of bounties.
I didn't try getting the fusion rifle kills on the enemies outside the instance but its not hard to get 200 fusion rifle kills on that strike. I think the kills have to be made with a fusion rifle as I noticed I wasn't making much progress before I started using it a lot.
Yeah they are pretty nice. It's kind of a silver lining that it was on for 2 weeks in a row, I didn't have enough coins on the first week! Hopefully it doesn't go on for a third week in a row.
I like hand cannons so I would go for the Thorn, but I guess that depends what you prefer. The thorn is useable before it gets its special abilities the Juju is not imo. I wouldn't worry too much about your final decision, neither of them are better than a legendary.
The Bad Juju is very good at killing weaker enemies when it gets its special so it does have its advantages.
