Anyone help with these,
Best place to find fallen majors?
Helium filaments are on mars
Spinmetals best near the earth mining cave
Where do i find spirit bloom? Got a few, not sure where from, venus?
Shards, best place? Do part of vault of glass and restart?

Just need to start collecting things now to upgrade everything, it all ready to be upgraded....

Helium filaments are on the moon, Spirit bloom on Venus.

I had 23 Motes of Light and 14 Strange Coins. Wanted the Knucklehead Radar from Xur but didn't fancing spending all my coins at once (as I need a better primary weapon), so I reluctantly bought the exotic engram for 23 Motes.

What a surprise - the engram decryped to a Knucklehead Radar ;)

Now I can save my coins for something even better!

Do I need to be rank 3 vanguard to buy weapons from Xur, only just going to hit rank 2 and really want a good primary auto rifle or hand cannon

Xur doesn't need any faction rep.

Been looking at the Suros Regime, i'm not even sure the 'Fire slower but do more damage while scoped' is working as intended. I don't know of any passive skill that actually makes a weapon worse in some situations. The actual ROF decrease is ~32% when using it scoped, but the damage increase is only 33%. It's almost like some idiot decided that if they decreased the ROF by some amount and increased the damage by that same amount that everything would be the same. Even as it currently is you still get a ~2% damage bonus using the scope if you factor in the 2.5 second reload but it's still worse if you reload cancel. There's around a 10% damage decrease if you don't factor in reloads, in order for the damage per second to be the same the scoped damage would need to be ~147% of non scoped damage.

Lol after RNG giving me crap for 40+ hours today I got a exotic helmet engram from xur that dropped for my warlock. Then I was out on patrol on earth done my bounties went to the tower and noticed a sign at the post master. It was a legendary engram, so I thought ok just get this to cryptarch will be nothing good then boom thunderlord drop nearly fell off my chair lol

So I'm 26 now and have full legendary gear. A few items I have double legendarys from Queens bounty and vanguard marks.

I can't decide which to use and level up! Which stats are people going for as a titan?

feels like I'm going to be level 26 forever now, I need shards and energy and I'm only getting about 2 shards a day, randomly get energy every now and again.
thanks for the tips blitzwing, I managed to kill the 10 majors without realising I'd kill that many, was just running around collecting spirit bloom and sniping the major if I saw him.

edit: should have a chance with shards and energy if I use the random event tracker website and just try get to as many as possible as fast as possible. some of them should give me what I need.

Doesn't really matter tbh, once you hit lvl 26 you can raid, and after that there isn't anything else to experience that you haven't seen already.

I'm not in any rush to upgrade my gear from now on.

soooo you're saying it's OP or it sux? :D

hang on a minute...

that exotic auto rifle ALSO heals you when you deal damage...?

WHAT THA ****!

surely that has got to be, hands down, the single best primary weapon in the game..?

the stats on it are also perfect for an auto rifle.

god damn it, there's no way i will be able to get enough strange coins to buy it... anyone who buys that weapon is going to **** on absolutely everything..

Not so sure, I am yet to try the reduced rate of fire when aiming down sights, think that kinda sucks.

Yeah once you have the reduced rate of fire upgrade it is no longer viable for pvp, also pretty sure the healing part is a chance to heal, not a guarantee. Still a very good rifle for pve though imo as the reduced fire rate increases damage.

One is rather annoyed that I purchased it without taking that into consideration. I am big on PVP and now quite disheartened with my choice of purchase haha
