Annoyingly, I do not have ANY sniper rifle! Might need to start keeping one, as I always break them if they're <Level 20.
 
Wouldnt it be better to discuss the raid in the raid thread? Any advice just gets lost in this thread - might also mean all those people trying to get a group together might have more luck too...

They're talking about the weekly nightfall strike, not the raid :)

Agreed. There aren't many games where the PvE is more fun than the PvP.

Did the Raid for the first time last night. Most fun I've had so far.

Both have their place.

Sometimes there just isnt a replacement for being able to put down a hailstorm of bullets when you're being rushed by 20 goblins in the vault.
 
As much as I love shotgun, I actually find using Fusion rifle in PvP really satisfying. Especially when playing with others using that type of gun, who's gonna get the kill... *buzzz* *brooom* I WiNz!
 
once you've got a full legendary armor set the queens bounties are pointless

You can't rank up your faction using it and you can't get vanguard or crucible marks. The only weapons they sell are crappy blue ones.

It was only worthwile while you could break down the legendary items for shards. Rather than remove this completely they should just have brought it into line with other strikes and only let you get the reward once or twice per week.
