pre order it on psn and begin downloading (they dont charge until release).

then AFTER the beta, go into your wallet on psn, transaction history, and cancel it

you should be able to do that without your ps4

You don't even need to wait until after the beta. Once you have pre-ordered you should get the Beta pre-downloaded straight away and can then cancel the order.

I have also done this, its sitting on my PS4 homepage teasing me :(

I assume that it should automatically install/update by the time I get home at 8 bells on Thursday as I have my machine on standby no?

Is there a overclockers group that I can join? It would be good to team up, I think that's where this game will shine.
 
Never been bothered about Beta's before, but I think I'll put a good few hours into this as a teaser for full release so when the game hits I can dive right in having alreayd passed the learning curve.

Only other game between now and 9th Sept I'll play is Diablo 3 so might as well.

Plus, from September this year I'll be busier than I ever have been in my life so I feel like getting some money's worth from the game ASAP as I may not be able to play half as much as I'd like.

Well 15GB will take me ages, but that's almost 4x the alpha size so hopefully a sign of how much content there will be.

Hmm,

So I can do this on the webstore? I will try although, Although I only have 12 pounds credit, so not sure if it will let me buy/prebuy without having enough credit. Ultimately I am going to buy the digital release anyway (so I can have the game in English), so I guess I should have just saved a lot of hassle and bought it in advance!!!

Just watched the live stream on IGN, can't wait to get some more time in on Destiny. Keep trying to play BF4 and its so stale now.
