The harpies go down really quick with the Arc hand canon that can spawn in the vault. Max that thing out and it makes quick work of them ! 11 in the mag and the guy who was two manning the vault was using it.

This is me too, I've got enough weapons to arm a small country and a massive stack of shards I can't do anything with. Three times I've completed the raid now, not a single armour drop. Complete crap!
 
easiest way to grind marks is to do all the PVE bounties for the day, do the daily public event, then do the level 24 vanguard tiger playlist. Should max it out fairly quickly.

Now that batman - is a good idea! :)

I've got a maxed out legendary auto rifle, fusion rifle, and machine gun.
My ice breaker and exotic hand cannon complete the lot I think so don't need to buy any more weapons (need to win some lol!) I also just won a legendary rocket launcher :)

Think that I'll just buy some cheapo armour and dismantle it - got about four of the queens guards chest and helmets which are just more or less useless now that bungie nerfed them being dismantled :(

Only exotic item I've ever won was the hand cannon during a raid - everything else I've had to buy from xur! :( I just can't get on with hand cannons - the barrel obscures the target when trying to quick shot zee aliens
 
Lol I just bought Ice Breaker thinking that my luck was so bad I'd need to buy all my exotics...

... And then I run a strike, and get Gjallarhorn from a legendary engram. :eek:

Just an ordinary Vanguard Tiger strike. :)

Might just be me, but just did another strike and another legendary dropped as a reward, albeit for someone else. Wonder if they've changed the drop rate.

Probably just coincidence.
 
LOL Trixster - we pwned that archon priest.

I've played that nightfall twice already and failed miserably. We did really well - one guy under the stairs and tuther back where at the entrance. Archon priest didn't know what hit him lol.

Who needs a third? :) :)

I'm not finding it that great to be honest, I'll keep it for boss fights as like you said, it seems made for that. The stabilty of it I think is what's killing it for me, Patience and Time is very high compared to the Ice Breaker which is what I normal use for sniping. I'm hoping the third upgrade makes it better :)
 
Nice one on the Weekly tonight lads. Sorry I didn't realise we'd have to safespot the archon, first time I've tried it on that difficulty. I felt like such an arse running around on the first run :D

It's very, very difficult to do it any other way on that difficulty, you get overwhelmed quite easily. The first run I was screaming at the TV to get in that spot, I guess I should've put my mic on. :D
 
doh, need ONE more strange coin to buy that OP looking sniper rifle ;D
will be my first decent sniper rifle since release..! :O
the stats on it look absolutely ridiculous.
