Can someone explain pvp side, I had a game, we won but I got no points. Played two more and, lost and got four points or whatever the pvp tokens are.

I confess my team used that tactic on the weekly heroic strike, because there was no auto-revive. Every time we stepped out of the little cave, we got instantly blatted by snipers, shanks, captains, invisible ninjas, and the boss. Staying out of harms way and popping out to deal some damage seems a perfectly valid strategy to me. And if any of us went down, we were in the relatively sheltered area where one of the others could revive us.
Is that for the exotic bounty? I believe you get 5 points for a kill, and lose 2 points for a death.

How is that a bad reward? Shards are some of the hardest things to get right now, and generally what people need the most. Besides that isn't all you got, there are several reward points in the raid along with all the chests.
They must be doing something big for such a long outage. Hopefully it will be worth the wait mate.

When I found out I couldn't play Destiny tonight I thought I'd watch a few catch-up programmes on iPlayer - only I can't start iPlayer when PSN is down

I take it I'm not the only one with no friends on xbox at the moment then? Went like this last night, very odd for it to be off for so long.
Not surprising with this game as you need to be online (read sign in) to be able to use your character. No sign = no playing at all

Yeah, that sucked the other day mate and i completely agree with the limited time gear swap at the end. I had a bash at the raid with some others and got a second kabrs wrath chestplate. I don't need two, so would have happily given it to one of the other players.
Limited time offer, only appicable to members in that raid, for gear obtained in that raid. I dont see how thats open to corruption or anything other than some slight resentment should anyone not want to swap. But then, how thats any worse than the resentment towards people due to rng is hard to imagine.
I have got one legendary weapon and mostly ascendant energy from 2 weeks worth of raids. Thats not a great return. And ascendant shards are not that hard to get compared to things like raid armour and good weapons / armour.

You can get 2 shards every day from doing the daily story on lvl 28. 10 - 15 mins usually. Agreed Raid rewards should be much better.

Good weapons and armour can be be bought. most people I know have got too many and not enough shards/energy to upgrade them all.

Restarted ps4 and can now play in case it works for anyone else
