sometimes however that "legendary" item is an ascendant shard :p which is what I got on my most recent FWC rank up.
 
Wow this update is a joke. You do less damage now against enemies in pve but the goblins in the raid on hard mode can one shot you. Nice way to break the game bungie.

EDIT: That's if I'm not being sniped at the exact same time by 2 goblins!

I tried my legendary New Monarchy scout rifle earlier as it's been buffed. Still can't stand using it. Much prefer my hand cannon.
 
Sorry to oHUTCHYo and psycho sonny for that poor effort in nightfall. All my weapons are seriously underpowered, only have rare weapons at the minute

Just completed the weekly nightfall with trix and redrooster 2. Flippin eck it wasnt easy!
Them captains and vandals on the last part took us by surprise!!

Well worth it. Two legendaries for.my comrades and i got 8 shards!! Just wot.i.needed :)
 
I did both nightfall and heroic twice over each on both of my characters, ugh. Nightfall was harder than expected, just those damn captains. Only got 6 coins in total. Theres me missing whatever xur is selling this weekend :(
 
Raid is getting a bit tedious now.

Its a decent bit of fun getting together once a week to do it but this is the third time we've completed it. Every run I've had exactly the same loot, a bunch of Shards/Energies (mostly Energies), and an Atheons Epilogue from the boss. Three of the same weapon from the boss is taking the ****. It only took us about an hour to do today but the reward is becoming less and less worth the effort.
 
I got 10 Ascendent Energy from this weeks Nightfall, which is fine with me. Probably would've preferred Shards but now I can max out Ice Breaker and save the rest for the next exotic I feel like maxing out.

Yep, it took a bit of effort but it was fun!
